2.    May 2012 – Jul 2014: Researcher, Cranfield University College Road, (UK)
Researching position measurements for a planetary rover using laser speckle velocimetry andodometry as inputs to a Kalman Filter algorithm.  Developing a kinematic model for the rover by utilizing MATLAB. Assessing the use of unicenter for space operations / ground segment systems.

3.    Sep 2008 – Jun 2010: IT Advisor, University of Surrey, IT Services, (UK) 
    Worked part-time as an IT ResNet advisor. Involved with troubleshooting and    resolving technological issues with network structure, connectivity and    communication devices for student residence labs. Used solid technical     acumen to maintain proper system functioning. 

4.    Jun 2006 – Sep 2006: IT Consultant (Contract), Fujitsu Services, (UK) 
     Implemented Unicenter Service Catalogue, a product suite of Unicenter     Service Delivery for a largefinancial client. Designed high level    documentation that captured system schematics.Assisted in configuring and     developing documentation for Unicenter Asset Management. Helped to    resolve technical issues concerning Computer Associates products. Helped     companies maintain100% optimal system performance. 

5.    April 2005 – September 2005: IT Auditor (Contract), Open University, Milton Keynes, (UK) 
    Audited systems for the OU staff. Provided expertise and technical support for     PCs and some Mac systems on campus. Evaluated optimization and    performance of network, software and hardware aspart of the audit.    Maintained network security, insuring data integrity, as well as decreased     systemthreats 

6.    February 2004 – December 2004: IT Consultant, Hurst Consulting, Harrow (UK) 
Used Norton Ghost to build Windows 2000 Servers and developeddocumentation for key Hurstclients. Successfully installed Unicenter TNG and made sure adequate monitoring tools were in placeto maintain systems optimal performance at 99% functionality.  Set up and installed domain controller including DNS, PC Anywhere Enterprise, Application Centre 
2000, and CryptoSwift. Proficiently use Active Directory for maintaining network infrastructure andsetting domain and local security policies. 

7.    March 2003 – January 2004: IT Technician, Banc Tec, New Jersey Elizabeth (USA) 
 Analysed clients’ technical environments to determine the most optimalnetworking and workstationsetup. Solely installed and configured Windows XP operating systems on clients’ sites. Replaced hard drives, motherboards, video cards and memory, rebuilt PCs and assisted customerswith installing wireless network technologies and communication peripherals. 

8.    October 2002 – June 2003: Data Verification Specialist, Select Agency, LU Luton (UK) 
Supported the accounting department by expediently resolving technicalissues and inquiries on proprietary banking software, as well as handled data management and records maintenance.Upheld a high-level of internal and external customer support that produced a 100% client satisfaction when resolving issues and answering user questions on software products and data.

 Assisted in the design and deployment of Unicenter TNG products formonitoring both client systemsand in-house systems. Various Unicenter agents were installed (i.e. System Agents, Performance Agents,Exchange Backup Agents, and log Agents). Unicenter TNG was fully utilized to enable a secure and stable infrastructure. Tested and evaluated Unicenter ServiceManagement software for collectingservice level agreement statistics. 

10.    February 1999 –  March 2001: Technical Consultant, Computer Associates International, Century City, Cape Town (RSA) 
    
Maintained and monitored Unicenter TNG Systems. Implemented Unicenter    Agents on both UNIXand NT systems for various clients. Some of the clients    were major banks and government institutionsthat monitored SAP processes     and Oracle databases. Helped clients monitor their e-businessinfrastructure     and offered technical support. Tested and evaluated various Company     products that were later implemented on client sites. Theseproducts were     Network IT Pro, Survive IT, Asset Management Software, Software Delivery     Option and Inoculan. Used expertise and knowledge in products to add value     to clients’ IT infrastructure.Used MS Access to create a table for preparation     of a database and also designed forms usingwysiwyg design tool for a retail     company. 

11.    1997 –  1998: Technical Support Technician, Century Analysis,

Supported over 400 users (with international offices in London and Prague). Installed various software packages within the corporate office. Installed and configured Windows 95 and NT, Linux, Lotus Notes, Office 97, and Visual Studio. Improved workflow by 40% trough ensuring all systems were current and software packages were operating efficiently.
Designed IT WebPages for the intranet to help other departments understand the position of the IT infrastructure department and the direction it was taking in response to the entire company operation.
