The L1NDA staff planning tool is the market leader in the Dutch hospitality industry. Our constantly growing mobile app helps over 45.000 active users plan and keep track of their work schedules. We are a fast growing company with big ambitions and dreams and we are looking for an ambitious mobile developer who wants to embark in this journey with us.

Your responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work on our core product, the L1NDA scheduling tool, as well as new products we plan to build. You will be part of a small Scrum team and work in 2 week sprints with demos and retrospectives at the end. Our user-stories and sub-tasks are documented in Confluence.

– Bringing the gig economy to the hospitality industry: helping businesses fill gaps in their schedules with detached personnel.
– UX improvements: It should be fun to work with L1NDA – and according to our customers it already is! Still, we want to improve our apps’ user experience and make them suitable for a broader audience. This will involve adopting new designs as well as the development of closer integration with services such as iCloud Calendar, push notifications, Siri etc.
– Turning our apps into a first class citizens or the L1NDA platform: porting core functionality that is currently only available to web users remains one of our top priorities. Our goal is that eventually implementation of new features will be mobile rather than web driven.

Your profile:

– A minimum of 3 years’ experience writing native iOS applications with at least one app currently live on the app store and/or github projects you can demonstrate.
– Good understanding of object oriented principles and the ability to translate these into robust Swift code.
– Familiarity with writing unit tests and experience with Test Driven Development.
– You are a team player and can easily coordinate with product owners, developers and other stakeholders.
– Experience with Android development and curiosity towards React Native are a definite plus.
– Contributions to open source projects is appreciated.
