Network Operations Center Team Leader at EMEA Fiat Chrysler Automobile NOC with the re
sponsibility to come up with solutions to various networking problems and ensures that
customer needs are properly defined and satisfactorily met. My primary duties and
responsibilities are:
Responsible for managing and coordinating the NOC team and be always informed
about what is happening.
I oversee the work of our NOC team to ensure that the tasks are properly implemented
and procedures carefully followed.
Monitoring and managing the Data Center of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
Configuring and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN and MAN Network of FCA.
Configuring Nexus 7k, 5k and 2k within the Data Center.
Providing solutions to minimize latency in data center by using layer-2 features like
segmentation, LACP, switch stacking, vPC, and Qos mechanism 802.1p/q tagging.
Designing networks and performing change management in non-business hours.
Hands on experience in network extension.
Working on HLD and LLD design.
Managing Cisco Wireless LAN Controller Airos & IOS XE (2504,3504,5508,5520 and
9800)
Troubleshooting technical issues through service on site, telephone and remote access.
Management of the cases opened to Cisco vendor and arrangement of webex sessions
with TAC Engineers.
Create and update network diagrams with Visio.
We also manage all FCA firewalls (Most are Fortinet) and this has allowed me to acquire
different skills also in this environment which held me responsible for:
Management and upgrading of Fortinet firewalls ((FGT 60D, 300C, 800C, 3240, 501E,
3700D etc..).
Manage all network policy & routing changes as needed for all global security
appliances using Fortimanager.
Creating and administering FortiGate Firewall Policies
Creating and administering site to site VPN tunnels, SSL and IPSec VPN tunnels by
using FortiGate firewalls.

Management and monitoring of thousands of Cisco devices (switches, Access points,
Wireless Controller) using our network monitoring tools like Cisco Prime infrastructure,
Cisco ACS, Zabbix, Splunk etc..
Management and configuration of L2 devices (Catalyst 3000,2000 and 9000 Series).
Management and configuration of L3 devices (Cisco 6500,4500X,6800,9500).
Configuration and installation onsite of new Cisco switches and WLC during the
Hardware Refresh of FCA Sites around the world.
Troubleshoot network problems
Tracking Issues with our dedicated tools (BMC & Service now).
Periodic upgrade of the devices with the suggested version.
