Master Thesis – The Comelicottero:
experiments on quadcopter’s flight
controls.
This multirotor was developed on Arduino
Yun (in Wiring&C++) using both the
processors.
The Atheros AR9331 was used for the WiFi
communication with the Ground Station
and the Atmega32u4 for the PID control
system and navigation.
Position estimation was computed using
MEMS gyro and accelerometer data.
Focus on:

Bachelor Thesis – Indexing of heterogeneous audio
tracks.
I developed an automatic track-indexing method
based on Breiman’s Tree (Supervised Learning) in
Matlab.
My classifier has been tested on two databases, 300
tracks each.
SW Robot in Java using Robocode framework.
The bot developed is able to predict enemy’s movements and
decide hence the fire power using a fuzzy system approach.
My bot has been compared with many well known bots
available on the net giving great scores.
Parallel K-Means on images using CUDA
The aim of the project is to implement the parallel version of kmeans
algorithm for image clustering. K-means has been firstly
prototyped in Python and then implemented in CUDA C.

– Algorithm parallelisation – Time&Space performance
– Dynamic memory allocation – Usage of GPU’s different memories
Toy Example RESTful MOOG Game using Client/Server and TokenRing
structures.
I used Java Jersey Rest library concerning the communication between a
player and a server which stores players’ info and matches.
The game takes place in a pure P2P distributed system based on
TokenRing. Each player adopts socket communication to broadcast info.
