Esperienze
Brain-Technologies (Torino)
In collaboration with brain-Technologies I am being involved in various research and industrial
projects. In particular:
– September 2013 to December 2014. In the field of electric propulsion vehicles, I
worked in THOR project as CONTROL ENGINEER, in particular to the BMS (Battery
Management Systems). The main activities included the development of innovative
algorithms for estimating the state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH) of
Li-Ion batteries.
– May 2015 to October. I worked in B.Sense project, as SYSTEM ENGINEER. My
main activities included analysis and benchmark of pollution/gas sensors, HW/SW
architectures design and validation methods and strategies design.
– August 2015 to now. I am working as PROJECT LEADER to the design of a test
bench commissioned by McLaren Automotive.
– October 2015 to now. For Magneti Marelli Spa, I’m working as PROJECT LEADER
to an innovative application (in automotive field) which involves the design of advanced
estimation algorithms.
CONSULTANT ACTIVITIES:
– February 2014 to July 2015. CONSULTANT at Whirlpool R&D (Varese) as
CONTROL ENGINEER, in the Induction Advanced Development Group, where I was
involved in the development of estimation and control algorithms. The main
activities included the design of control algorithms capable of providing advanced
cooking features and enhanced security features on the user side.
The developed solutions are, today, under patent request.
Main Tasks:
o Design and development of advanced cooking features (assisted cooking)
for induction cooktops and ovens;
o Design and development of safety features aimed to preserve the
mechanical integrity of an induction hob against thermal stress.
Main activities:
o Development of estimation algorithms; Development of robust control
algorithms;
o Design (methods, hardware and software) of testing and data collection
procedures; Performance analysis;
o Usage of automatic generation code tools;
o Data modelling, thermal systems modelling, model reduction; Nonlinear
controllability and observability analysis;
o Control system specifications from food technologists requirements;
o Project costs VS feasibility/performance analysis; Project specifications VS
technical/methodological approach;
o Design of embedded software architectures and hardware requirements.
– July 2015 to now. CONSULTANT in General Motors Powertrain Europe (Torino),
Software Integration and Validation Group, where I’m working as HARDWARE IN THE
LOOP APPLICATION ENGINEER. The main activities included HIL models interfaces
modelling, engine dynamical model integration and the hardware maintenance of dSpace HIL benches.
