▪ Thesis: “Digital Circuit Design, Full Adder, in the Energy-Delay Domain”
 Description: The objective of the thesis was to design the Dual-Rail Domino Full Adder in 28nm CMOS technology. The increase in the number of transistors contained in the integrated circuit has caused the increment of the energy dissipation on the chip, which is the most limiting factor for further growth of the integration. Therefore it has been studied the operation point of the transistors in the energy-delay domain and it has been verified that the design in the NTC (Near Threshold Computing) region offers the best trade off between power and delay. The thesis gave me the opportunity to design integrated circuits and to expand my knowledge in the field of digital electronics.

Sept. 2001 – Febr. 2011  Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering  University of Siena, Faculty of Engineering, Roma Street, n. 56, 53100, Siena (Italy) Graduation grade: 93/110
▪ Electronics I: Configuration and operation of BJT and MOS, Polarization, Cascode and Darlintong circuits, voltage regulators.
▪ Electronics II: Current Mirrors, Feedback, Frequency Response, OpAmp and compensation techniques, Noise, Offset.
▪ Fundamentals of Automation Engineering, Fundamentals of Computer Science, Signal Theory, Electrical Communications, Information Theory and Codes, Electromagnetic Fields, Digital Signal Processing, Antennas, Telecommunications Network, Wireless Communications, Electronics for the Transmission and Processing of Multimedia Signals, Image Processing, Transmission and Processing of Information in Multimedia Systems, Economics and business management.
▪ Thesis: “VoIP Open Source Technologies: Installation and basic configuration of Trixbox”
 Description: The aim of the dissertation and of the internship was to study VoIP systems and specifically to create a platform for calls SIP trunk by using the open source distribution trixbox based on IP-PBX Asterisk. I proceeded to install the version of Trixbox 2.0 based on Asterisk 1.2.13 by using a VMware virtual machine on the host operating system windows seven, so I made a subnet between the host (windows seven) and the guest system (trixbox) hosted on VMware machine. Finally, I checked through some call tests, the actual operation of the system installed.
 Software used during my thesis:
• Matlab;
