01/10/2015–31/03/2016 Thesis Politechnico di Torino, TORINO (Italy) Final thesis on performance analysis of communication protocols for wireless sensor network. . Performed performance analysis and comparison for Bluetooth Low Energy, ZigBee and Wi-Fi protocols on Liblium products. . Impact of distance on power consumption and packet delivery ratio for BLE, Zigbee and Wi-Fi protocols. . My study was aimed at analyzing the main elements that characterize the performance of a sensor network, for example studying the power consumption characteristics of nodes will enable us to use appropriate protocols and device in deployment of sensor nodes and also to maximize energy conservation. . The battery consumption of Waspmote was studied in indoor and outdoor environment and also the current drainage under deferent states was presented. . The Packet delivery ratio was measured and compared between each protocols by varying the distance
