I'm working as BPM Business Analyst / Developer and I am currently involved in the development of several custom banking solutions based upon the Appway platform. The Agile framework used to manage the overall project is Scrum. In addition, I'm also learning to use the IBM BPM tool.

Principali attività e responsabilità

(September 2013 – January 2014) I worked as Java/J2EE developer on a front office bank project. I have used XFrame Unicredit framework, Struts 1.3 and the most important and frequently used design patterns.
(May 2013 – September 2013) I worked as Oracle PL/SQL – Oracle Warehouse Builder developer on a data warehouse project for a bank client. My role mainly consisted of developing script bash and pl/sql store procedure, developed with SqlDeveloper, in order to allow the automatic execution of mapping and process flow in ETL processes.
(September 2012 – April 2013) I worked as Oracle PL/SQL developer on a financial project. During this experience, I have been involved both in developing of new scripts and store procedure, and in maintenance of existing code with Toad tool.

Thesis title: “Un prototipo per il sistema NOMANFACE (Non-negative MAtrix factorization for
FACE recognition)” – Prototype developed in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, C# language, with
MATLAB library, that can recognize human faces using the non-negative matrix factorization
technique. In detail, non-negative matrix factorization is one of the recent decomposition tools for
multivariate data which extracts key features of data by operating an iterative matrix factorization.
I have used this technique in order to extract key features from human faces and to try to
understand if this part-based representation could be used in the face recognition field. For this
reason, I have built a Matlab library to perform the iterative matrix factorization and I have used it
in a C# prototype project. This prototype is made up of two parts: Registration Unit and Login
Unit.
