Lead a small team with the target to develop the New Generation 1.6 ton & 1.8 ton Mini
Crawler Excavator. Target of the new machine was a new concept machine with the
introduction of new technologies (plastic tanks and exterior hoods, new engine e new
hydraulics) and 10% of total pure manufacturing cost down vs current production machine.
Closely collaborate with the Japanese Kobelco Joint Venture team to follow up all hydraulic
components development (Japanese suppliers).
Responsible of cost reduction project on current production Mini Crawler Excavator in order
to reduce 5% of total pure manufacturing cost through re-engineering, re-purchasing,
localization and standardization actions.
