• Defined and enhanced a daily scheduling European roadmap for our Power Plants, Retail
Clients and Derivatives positions, offers and nominations. Company incurred minor costs
on the Operations Department as fully implemented effective control systems were
introduced to meet the required day-to-day time-sensitive deadlines.
• Designed VBA user forms and created scripts using OOP approach to support the analysis
and development of data summaries and simulation models – e.g. European hubs outages
reports, time-series aggregate curves, price forecasts using Monte Carlo Simulations.
• Worked closely with middle-office to auto implement the MtM and PnL balancing position
reports of the generation assets being 200 MW (Natural Gas, Wind), customer annual load of
15000 MWh, annual international auctioned power and short-term spot contracts.
• Built SQL Tables and developed daily-automated PL/SQL scripts to archive and retrieve
multi data views for front-to-back offices – e.g. grouping cross-country and internal hub
positions, retail clients’ reconciliation.
