Developed an algorithm and made research on various algorithms available for the automated traffic light detection. Used OpenCV and python to design algorithm. Used Hough transformation for shape detection. Also, used various shape detections and edge detection algorithms. Various filtering techniques to remove noise. Developed 3 approaches for the traffic light detection using different strategies and done testing and evaluation of the quality of the algorithm. Also, tested the same algorithm on the Raspberry pi 3 development board. Worked with Raspberry Jessie OS. University: CDAC ACTS – Center for Development of Advanced Computing Course : PG Diploma (Embedded Systems Designing) Duration: March 2012 – October 2012 Address : Pune, India Subjects : C programming, C++, Operating system concepts and programming, ARM & AVR Programming, Real time systems programming. Percentage : 69.30% (scored among top 5 students) Project: Data acquisition in intel xenomai RTOS using PCI (ESA-DAS) Card ESA PCI DAS (Data Acquisition System) is a high speed PCI bus based data acquisition add-on card for PC. It upgrades PC compatible computer system to high-speed data acquisition and process control workstation. The Card provides one ADC, two DACs, a Timer and a Programmable Peripheral Interface which are interfaced to the PCI Bridge through glue-logic. We implemented the device driver for this card in Intel Xenomai RTOS environment using C programming language, in which it was not having one for Xenomai. We used the Real-Time Driver Model (RTDM), one of the Xenomai's skins for development. This driver module will be generic for different types of application and it will work for all similar type of cards, meeting the real-time constraints.
