During test execution my main task was to assure a great coordination and collaboration between engineers working on CS, PS, IMS networks and 2G, 3G and 4G RAN. After some outages and to have a stable and reliable network for 2010 FIFA World Cup, MTN Customer has followed Ericsson suggestions about signaling handling in their network, replacing existing nodes with powerful ones and optimizing the whole network traffic with a re-design (migration to IP, new balancing, redundancy).
Involved from project start-up up to support during integration, I have done quotation of service (BCE), Signaling CN Baseline,Network Solution design, Network detailed Design,CCR, DT. As Technical Coordinator, I have planned and organized the activities inside the team (up to 8 people) and the contacts with the South African MU and the Customer, through meetings, call conferences, Project Status Reports, MoM, Customer meeting presentations for each phase.
