Description:  The purpose of this Project is to develop one common application for all the 4 Scandinavian countries to maintain the data of Collaterals such as Commercial and Real Estate, Shipping and oil Services. This application holds the data which is been migrated from Legacy systems. The Data is first been Cleansed before migrating. Datastage tool is used to perform Business Rules on the data which is to be migrated and to load into the collate application. 

Roles & responsibilities:

    Designed the High Level and Low level documents by discussing with business team in Erwin.
    Worked on Balanced optimization in Datastage 11.5 which reduces loading time to Databases.
    Creating the datamodel on the backend- this includes doing data transfornations, generating qvds, writing scripts,chosing the best schema that suits the data etc
    UI/Frontend –Developing creating charts , tables,lists,triggers, writing macros, doing calculations on the data to get required values, looking into color combinations, creating interactive objects for the user etc.

Description:  eBay provides Business data for Client users to evaluate performance of webstore metrics for several business areas.Data for the reports is sourced from multiple systems. The purpose of the eBay Enterprise ETL’s are to gather the data, cross reference and normalize data, and perform aggregations and calculations to improve reporting performance.

Clinets users can then access the standardized data to run standard reports and dashboards, or create self-service reports to investigate their business data and make decisions. Initial data and reports offered were prioritized by determining run statistics of base reports in the Net Accumen (V9/V10) reporting system.

ETL’s are broken out into business areas, loading dimensions and measures pertinent to the business area. Each individual business area is combined into a single workflow that can be erun in case of error. Data is loaded nightly, except for a real time feed which Aggregates order statistics every half hour for real time dashboard.

Description:  This Project is to centralize different sales reporting applications under one common data integration and reporting platform to reduce complexity, remove redundancies, and improve usability. The new application is called Vehicle Sales Tracking and Reporting (VSTAR) and the project is called Next Generation Sales Reporting (NGSR). We have multiple releases for this project. For the release 1 & release 2 of this project, one of the existing systems that to be migrated into VSTAR is EIS (Executive Information System). The Executive Information System (EIS) is a management reporting system to support executives for data review and decision-making.  This system provides users with a standard set of reports and graphs to review company performance and trends.

Description: SENA is implementing a global Oracle based core system.  As part of this global initiative, SENA must initiate a lifecycle approach to the Remaining Product Load (RPL).  In this approach source files will be extracted from the Legacy systems and loaded into Oracle staging database, now all the objects (ETL processes) will extract source data from this staging area only and loading into Oracle for reporting purpose.

Engine, which is the architectural component responsible for the calculations performed by the system.  The rating engine receives messages from the core application that initiate Rating Strings, which pull information from the database to perform a series of calculations ending in the rates for a particular quote.

Description: Independence Blue Cross and its subsidiaries are the Philadelphia region's largest health insurers with more than 2.6 million members locally, and 3.4 million overall. We employ nearly 9,500 people, annually process more than 32 million claims, and respond to over 6 million customer inquiries. The tables will be loaded once with historical data, and they will load incrementally on a daily basis.  This project specifically addresses historical and incremental data feeds from the Raw Data and Planmate extracts, for all claims except converted PPO claims.

Project Title        : General Practice Research Database (GPRD)
Client            : Medicines Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA)

Description: MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) is the government agency which is responsible for ensuring the medicines and medical device work and are acceptably safe. MHRA enable greater access to product, and the timely 

introduction of innovative treatments and technologies that benefit patient and the public. The GPRD data is valuable to a range of users including government 
departments, pharmaceutical companies, academics and pharmaceutical regulators such as the MCA.  Services will be tailored for each of these groups enabling the MCA to 
set different price points for varying levels of service. All GPRD data will be stored permanently in an Oracle database called the Operational Data Store (ODS).  The data will be restructured and loaded into a Red Brick Data Warehouse (DW) to provide 
optimal performance.  The GPRD users will be provided with Business Objects tools for reporting and ad hoc research, dependent on their subscription level.  These tools will include the Set Analyzer tool to create patient cohorts for users requiring full research capabilities.
