IBM Brazil – Physical DBA for IMS DB Sep, 2015 – Nov, 2016 IBM provides services for many clients around the world and I am part of the pool which we are responsible for 11 accounts, acng as physical DBA, parcipang directly of each change or project and in advance suggesng and developing improvements for our clients.

Ford Motor Company DBA Team Leader (01/2011–08/2015); • Process control as procedures, calendars, process improvements and security; • Data architect forficaon which aims parcipate directly to new project in order to strengthen the DA team providing best pracces for data accommodaon and fast accessess; • Analysis and performance opmizaon – Database tunings; • Implemenng Referenal integrity; • Index opmizaon and eliminaon if obsolete; • Developing a roune to check programs with potenal bad performance; • Implemenng and disseminang new technologies such as IBM Data Studio, BMC tools, OSAM and HALDB structure, Dataprop and DB2 consuming services which aims to replace MQ series; • Teaching BMC tools; • Improving relaonship with all applicaon fields; • Creaon of channel named “DBA ps” in order to provide excellence in Databases subjects.

I parcipated acvely as DBA for all databases definions and implementaons during this period for projects such as: Floor plan for parts and accessories. For each parts or accessories which dealers buys from Ford. Ford's transmits an authorizaon number among others consistencies where Ford Credit became responsible for administrate the bank balance for each Ford's dealer; o o New invoice system named e-MIS (electronic Miscellaneous System); New FAV that will be used by all Ford's Dealers which is like an account to saving dealer's money that was developed by Ford Credit; o o GSDB – Global supplier database that consists in a global and single supplier's data base; Changed structure from VSAM to OSAM, VSAM dataset has 4 GB limit and the OSAM structure has 8 GB. There was an issue where a DB reached their 4 GB limit causing abend and the quick soluon was to change the structure from VSAM to OSAM. o Implement resoluon 13 project – It was an obligaon project from Brazilian Senate which aimed to idenfy the percentage of imported components from each parts that compose a kit, for example either car or engine, etc.; o Implement new car and trucks invoice system at Ford Motor Company using “New” technologies such as stored procedures and triggers that was aconed by Stored Procedure; o o Implement IN86 – Normave instrucon nº 86/2001 from government agency; o Applicaon improvment for Ford consumers such as @genda Ford and TMAC; o Teaching for applicaon development team and applicaon management team; Implement a runstats roune that copy stascs from Producon enviroment and update Test Enviroment, automac explain and automac access review roune; o o New technologies: IBM Data Studio, Stored Procedures, BMC Tools and Data Prop; o Version upgrades acng as coordinator for local acvies; o Acng directly with the US central team.
