Project details:

Essential Super is a fund managed by Colonial First State (CFS) targeted for SME customers. The project was to build a‘Digital – employer portal’ compliant to ‘ATO (Australian Tax Office) SuperStream data standards’. The project scope included‘submit and perform’ contributions online, make payments and manage customers.

Responsibilities:

·         Assess user stories and create high level scenarios and test cases and conduct walkthrough for product owner and development team

·         Perform System testing and End to End to testing of Netbank, mainframe(Fraud Management System), dialogue (letter reporting) and Customer service agent applications using SAP, SOAP UI and SQL .

·         Proactively conduct exploratory testing, raise critical bugs and performthe root cause analysis

·         Perform testing for multiple browser support (IE, Safari, Chrome, and Firefox) and simulated mobile testing of different browsers.

·         Active participation in all phases of SCRUM i.e. Sprint Planning, effort estimation, Sprint Review, Showcase and Sprint Retrospective.

·         Assist product owner in prioritization of the product backlog by raising risks and dependencies.

·         Collaborate with business analyst and developers to challenge the user-story assumptions and clarify scope.

·         Conduct demonstrations for business and product owners in showcase.

·         Quick turnaround time for defect testing and related regression test during post implementation support

Test Specialist | SunGard Global Services –  Clients: US Bank, UMB, Zions, BNYM, Wells Fargo

Project details:

Stream transfer agency is SunGard’s prestigious initiative to roll out Web-based interface to facilitate Transfer Agents to process Stocks & Bonds. This is a record keeping and accounting system designed to provide online, real-time accounting of shareholder and bondholder.

Responsibilities:

·        Actively involved in project management activities like scope definition, designing test strategy, project planning, resource allocation into various tasks, project tracking, metrics collection, status reporting on daily basis.

·        Worked on complex modules like Issuance & Transfers, Registered Payments, Capital change, exchanges, Dividend Payments, and Proxies.

·        Mentored3 team members for test planning and test execution and provided knowledge transfer sessions.

·        Representing QA in daily defect triage and weekly project status meetings.

·        Actively involved in test preparation activities like creating test plans in QC and high level scenarios highlighting test scope and strategy and walkthrough to development and onsite business.

·        Creating test date suite from existing client encrypted data using SQL.

·        Test Execution activities included sanity testing, smoke testing, system testing, regression testing and defecting logging and defect management.

·        Automating scenarios using the In- house tool of SunGard-SAFAL

Project details:

A large scale program which ran across different banking sectors and my work involved predominantly in its Telephone Banking sectorwhich included significant changes for high automated applications IVR, desktop and web based applications used bybanking agents. The customer sectors included retail, commercial and recoveries of cards.

Responsibilities:

·         Actively interacted with Client and Business to understand the merger of the work flows.

·         Reviewed/Analyzed Business Requirement Definition Report, conducted study and prepared test estimation for the project.

·         Daily activities included test preparation and test execution and defect tracking and management, providing updating overall progress to management.

·         Performed sanity testing, system testing, regression testing and also validated the test results of the team.

·         Analyze Functional Specifications and interacted with client to understand how fraudulent data would be captured and how test is expected to simulate and create very similar data.

·         Ensured grooming of a 5 member offshore team by knowledge transfer and conducting virtual meetings onshore/offshore.
