Administration of Brocade SAN & EMC/IBM/Huawei Storage infra of a Dutch Telecom provider client (KPN BV). Designing, planning, Scheduling and Managing multiple Storage/SAN/Datacenter migration projects.

Achievements/Contributions:

• Designed, planned, tested and executed various migration projects such as P2P, P2V, V2V, OOB which includes ESX, Windows, Linux, Solaris hosts.
• Worked at client office in Netherlands in 2016-2017 (3 Months) for

o   Managing and execution of V2V Migration projects.

o   Planning of P2V Migration Projects.

o   Managing, Planning and preparation for SVC Storage Migration projects.

• Migrated Windows, Linux, ESX & Solaris hosts with Databases/applications from VMAX 20k storage to IBM SVC Storage. This migration includes 2000+ hosts from 2 DCs and migration was done without single Incident.  During this migration, the responsibility included management of engineers from OS, DB & Planning teams.
• Successfully transitioned projects from 2 different Vendors by planning and executing KT from the vendors.
• Worked at client offices in Netherlands in 2014 (3 Months) for

o   Designing, testing and implementing cross data center replication between 3 DCs and local replication for the storage used by mission critical financial applications.

• Executed Storage migration of multiple ESX hosts
• Automated important routine tasks /reports using Perl scripts, macros and other open source programs so that the effort and time spent in performing the tasks are reduced and can be used to improve productivity in other areas.
• Received big monetary reward from client for the work executed as part of operations and Storage Migration.

Vedams Software Solutions, Hyderabad (May 2011 to September 2013)

Identifying the cause of DU/DL in HP’s customer storage arrays by analyzing logs and finding the root cause for the issue/failure. Recreating the issue at test lab to identify the root cause of the issue.

Achievements/Contributions:

• Assisted in developing and testing a semi-automated tool which is used to improvise the Log analysis so that multiple logs can be analyzed faster and accurately by reducing human errors.

Wipro Technologies, Bangalore (June 2007 to August 2010)

Executed my role as engineer and then as SME for EMC Symmetrix arrays. Provided backend support and troubleshooting of issues. First point of contact for any challenging technical issues, providing Solutions to Technical Queries 24/7.

• Awarded with multiple Star of the month, Feather in my cap, Super PSE and other Spot-on awards
• Promoted as Subject Matter Expert for displaying excellent technical skills and proactively documenting solutions for new issues.
• Authored/Modified 35+ EMC2 Primus Knowledge base solutions which are globally available for EMC2 Product Support and Customers across the world. Authored multiple Technical checklists, Best practices and work instruction documents to avoid DU/DL situations which are available for customers all over the globe and Technical support.
