1. DXC Technology, Hyderabad, India => April 2006 to till now • As a Core DBA, directly responsible for Availability, Security and Maintenance of oracle databases and Mongo DB Replica sets and Sharded Clusters. • Take care of performance and monitoring of MongoDB servers across multiple environments using MMS. Ensuring high availability of MongoDB, Troubleshoot any problems in production environment and ensure that reliable backups are in place. • Working on different ITIL Requests and Service Improvement Plans, as a part of service delivery. • Initiating and implementing recommended changes that need to be done for the database estate. • Installing different versions of Oracle software like 10g & 11g on Unix and creation of databases. • Make strategy to convert MongoDB replica set to sharded cluster and optimize performance. • Keeping the Customer updated about the status of ongoing issues and service calls at every phase of restoring the service. • Organizing team meetings (Daily Service Review) and SRTs (Service Restoration Team meet) for discussing and explaining about the issues/problems persisting on the environment • Applying Patch sets and Bug fix patches. • Planning for growth and changes (Capacity Planning). • Creating and assigning appropriate roles and privileges to users depending on the user activity. • Granting and revoking Privileges/Roles from users. • Table space management. • Automating jobs via cron utility • Doing refreshes or duplicates using Exports & Imports, Data Pump and RMAN. • Enabling SSH between different oracle servers for easy connectivity. • Onsite Transition Knowledge in off shoring the business from Onshore to Offshore ● Implementing the Global Change Activities as per the timelines. • To maintain quality of the customer business as per the CSC standards and Customer Standards
