Role: Technical Architect – VMware & Datacenter Administrator May 2015 – Till Date.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage 150+ Physical servers across multiple locations in India.
• Manage 25K+ virtual machines provided for different PoC’s, Offerings and other Solutions. It includes machines from technologies like ESXi, XenServers, Hyper V machines and client machines.
• Install, Configure and Manage ESXi Physical Servers.
• Creation of Virtual Machines in different flavors as and when needed. Assign permissions to each VM’s.
• I have been successful in upgrading all Physical Hosts of ESXi 5.5 and vCenter servers to vSphere 6.5.
• Good experience in migrating production VMs using vMotion to new Datacenter with zero downtime.
