Research work titleAssessment of Volumetric water content using Radio waves
-The Object of Research is Wireless Underground Sensor Networks (WUSNs) use in smart
agriculture and to avoid use of humidity sensor in measuring humidity, I have deployed wireless
devices in vast agriculture field and studied data transmission between them as propagation between
these devices will be underground the propagating medium will be robust causing pathloss by
calculating pathloss and approximating these values using mathematical model and finding the
humidity percentage in soil without using humidity sensor. The Long Range communications(LoRa)
with low delay rates and minimum consumption power was used.
-Studied coverage between coordinator and gateway in wireless medium observed how the RSSI
changes with the change in distance between them.
