Projects 1.AMS (Analyzers Management System) Analytics: Design and develop a platform to monitor
servers/clients, systems and applications with the integration of different systems. The platform will
send notifications in the case of errors (emails or sms). My work is focused mainly on the study of
innovative solutions to design and develop a software that can be used to collect and analyze data
collected from logs, or the status of services or applications (LIS – Laboratory Information System –
and Medical Record). The other main activity is the study of techniques that can be used to visualize
and analyze the collected data and then to generate useful analytics reports.
Technologies:
– Python, MongoDB, MySQL, Servers, Cloud, Qlik, XML, AbbottLink, ASTM and HL7 Protocols.

2.Street Smart Retail: Design and develop a Bigdata platform/collector for a smart retail/shop with
the integration of different systems. My work is focused mainly on the study of innovative solutions to
design and develop our Bigdata collector. The other main activity is the study of techniques that can
be used to visualize and analyze the collected data and then to generate useful analytics reports.
Technologies:
– Java, Python, MongoDB, MySQL, Ubuntu, Servers, Cloud, WSO2, Qlik, XML, JavaScript, CRM.

3.Ph.D. Project: My Ph.D. work was focused mainly on the study of techniques based on
argumentation theory and human-computer interaction to support activities of representation,
visualization and processing of knowledge that emerges in multidisciplinary clinical discussions. I
developed an interactive computer-based tool to manage clinical discussions effectively and efficiently,
and to discover whether the knowledge of the clinical discussions is affected by any weak points, such
as contradicting conclusions, invalid reasoning steps, hidden assumptions, or missing evidences. The
tool (DSS – Decision Support System) can suggest a final decision (best diagnosis/treatment).
Technologies:
– PHP, JQuery, JavaScript, GO.js, Python, Xampp Server, UML, CSS, HTML, XML, MySQL, C++.

4.Thesis of master in computer engineering (Laurea Magistrale): Home Automation Profiler
Description: Design and develop a program that uses different techniques to monitor various aspects
of a computers’ system. System monitors are used to monitor multiple system resources such as a
computers’ Central Processing Unit (CPU) usage, memory usage and network usage. System
monitors are useful as they allow the user to keep track of the computers performance. This project
will aim to implement a system-monitoring program, which uses different techniques to represent the
information gathered from the monitor in Home Automation.
Technologies:
– Java, Netbeans and Netbeans Profiler, GUI and java Swing, JFreeChart, SIGAR library-System
Information Gatherer And Reporter, EDS system (En-Decoder System) by World databus Ltd, RXTX
Library for serial ports.

5.Thesis of BSc. in computer engineering (Laurea): Web Update Notifier
Description: System for monitoring and automatic notification of changes made HTML pages
belonging to web sites of interest. The user is able to submit to the system via WEB interface
appropriate, the relative URLs to web sites of interest, specify some parameters and let the system
operate. For each URL sent, the system periodically record any changes found in the pages
reachable from the specified address. The user can then log in again WEB interface of the system and
view the list of URLs that the system has identified as changed during the last scheduled test.
Technologies:
– Java, Netbeans, HTML, JSP/Servlet, Web Application (Apache, Servers, JBoss, and GlassFish),
Data Base SQL.

6.Computer graphics: Game
Description: Navigation in room 3D
Technologies:
– OpenGl, Visual Studio, C++.

7.Platforms and distributed systems:
Description: web application
Technologies:
– PHP, WampServer, CSS Cascading style sheet, API google, flicker , and youtube.

8.Operative System: Cinema booking system
Description: Book, cancel booking , and show free seats.
Technologies:
– Linux (ubuntu), C.

9.Operative System: Semantics of session on file
Description: Develop additional software for the Linux VFS in order to support semantics session to
access the files of a specific file system managed by VFS (e.g . EXT2).The interface for opening a file
in session mode can be achieved through a special system call opensession or using the existing
system call open ().When a file is opened in session mode, the contents are reserved in volatile
memory separate from the CACHE BUFFER and updates are not visible to other channels open on
the same file except when it is closed. Assume that the maximum file size manage able session is
limited(for example 16KB), and that there is a maximum number of simultaneously open sessions can
be managed by the kernel.
Technologies:
– Linux (ubuntu), C.
