SELEX Galileo – A Finmeccanica Company Pomezia (Rome) March 2001-February 2011 :
Design, as SW Engineer , and implementation of a test-bed for the “GPS-like” Galileo Satellite
Navigation System inside the STENAV (Satellite TEst bed for NAVigation and communication
services) program.
The program purpose was the satellite systems to aid the air traffic control management.
The program was a joint development among Enav (Italian company for the air traffic assistance)
Alenia Marconi Systems (nowdays SELEX ES) and Telespazio.
Implementation , validation and integration , as FPGA project Leader , of a 4M Gates PCI
communication Xilinx Virtex II FPGA for a real time processing of a RADAR channel for a
Warfare electronic systems (NH90 helicopter ATAD unit for Elettronica s.p.a ).
Implementation , validation and integration , as FPGA project Leader, of a PCI communication
FPGA for a graphic mezzanine “raster scan” display (NH90 helicopter ATAD unit for Elettronica
s.p.a ).
Implementation , validation and integration , as FPGA project Leader, and system Integrator, of a
3M Gates Xilinx Virtex II FPGA for the Computer symbol Generator (CSG) for the Eurofighter
2000 Tranche 2 Cockpit Move Head Down Displays (MHDD) and Head UP Display (HUD).
Implementation for a Finmeccanica research study (Mind Sh@re) of a Optical communication high
