·         Responsibilities from offshore included migrating the content and applications from MOSS to WCC/WCS.

·         Was responsible for extracting the content from existing SharePoint set up which was required for content migration.

·         Was also responsible for creating tool for synchronizing the data between SharePoint and WCC. The tool was built to extract the modified data from SharePoint and to export the same data to WCC so that the correct data is maintained at WCC end.

Contribution:

·         Developed client side Applicationsfor extracting the data from MOSS.

·         Created Event Receivers and console applications for synchronizing the data between MOSS and WCC.

Risk Register stores list of available risks in a project. Each risk has many attributes like Primary Risk, Secondary Risk, Risk Owner, Probability, Impact, Risk Level, Risk Status etc. Department wise graphs for risks are also shown which helps top level management to act accordingly. Text based search for finding a risk in a project is also provided. 

Contribution:

·         Used SPTrimmed control for hiding top ribbon for visitors.

Description:

New Job Intimation is an online system for managing new projects under different departments. Each new project has to go through three levels of approval i.e., Department, QA and PMO approvals and then finally it is reviewed by the business head. Emails are configured at each stages of approval. This online system reduces lot of paper work and helps in centralized management of data. 

Contribution:

·         Built custom Input, Edit and View forms using designer.

·         Created Visual Web Parts and user control to provide links to other web sites.

·         Created sequential workflow using designer for different levels of approvals by using impersonation steps.

·         Deployed third party tool using power shell and central admin for providing column level permissions on the list.

Project Name    :DMS for Daily Attendance Management

Description:

The ‘Document Management System’ (DMS) is document information capturing software.  which has four modules Printing Documents, Scanning Documents, Processing Documents and viewing reports. Printed documents are the attendance sheets for the workers which have worker ID, worker Name, barcodes and empty boxes where the Supervisor would mark the attendance. After the attendance sheets are marked they are scanned where the markings are read using OMR and OCR. After scanning they are processed which gets stored in the SQL database. The processed documents can be seen through document viewing portal.

Contribution:

·         Windows and CTRIX Client support for the site users and solving problems with Print Spooler service.

·         Tested the functionality of each module through CITRIX by considering various inputs and scenarios in

        real time.

·         Prepared test reports against identified issues in each module.

·         Application Support for the site users with regard to document printing, processing and viewing.

·         SQL Support for the application on updating the attendance records for monthly reconciliation.

Description:

PR Process is a web portal for processing of purchase requests from various users. PR Process has a list where all the PRs for the specific project are being stored and a vendor databank for the same. Each PR that is raised by a user has to go through different level of approvals in order to be processed by the respective team.

Contribution:

·         Developed Application using SharePoint Designer and SharePoint 2010.

·         Added the cascading drop down feature using Java Script.

·         Used calculated columns to automate PR Numbers.
