Accenture for Public Administration Client – Rome (Italy) – February 2011/June 2012
Role: Project Manager
Project description: maintenance and development of all the project areas included in the contract on the largest contract for all the Public Administration clients for Accenture with +70 people involved.
Technologies: the project included 9 different administrative/application areas on several public districts with tens of technologies and platforms involved (more than 50 known applications).
Main tasks: project staffing of the overall project with accurate control and forecasting of cost/commercial income of the project (seen the low daily rates for the staff involved, this was the most critical part of the project starting and deployment). Project taking over and starting with the previous contractor. Team leading of one administrative/application area. Coordination of the whole project and internal reporting to Accenture Cost Management structure. Reporting to the internal client leads of the overall progress of the project.
Accenture for Public Administration Client – Rome (Italy) – February 2010/April 2011
Role: Project Manager
Project description: process design and implementation of a platform supporting payments to public subjects.
Technologies: Filenet, J2EE technolgies, Oracle RDBMS.
Main tasks: project management of the local team and of the near-shore development team. Design of the main process streams for the disbursement of some public funds for a yearly budget of over 40 billions euros. Implementation of a technical platforms to correctly manage all the different approval steps (documents gathering, investigation, amount determination, payment). Change management and training.
Accenture for electronics retailer – Ingolstadt (Germany) – March 2009/September 2009

Project description: requirements gathering for an initiative of the client for the supply of special services for the end-customers.
Technologies: Siebel Retail; Siebel Handheld (modules: CG, Store&Forward); Oracle Realtime Scheduler.
Main tasks: coordination of the project team for the gathering and design of technical requirements related to the future implementation of the support system based on Siebel technology. Cost control and reporting to program management team. Detailed project management related to development and test of the platform.

Other relevant activities / small supported opportunities
After 3 years in my career development, I have always been involved in internal activities for commercial proposal to the clients. I also participated to several other projects/initiatives in other client segments (i.e. entertainment) or other small but critical initiatives (e.g. IT development plans for IT departments, development of new technology support for pharmaceutical company etc.) not mentioned in the previous list. During my last assignments, I also co-ordinated other staffs dedicated to client’s proposals for Public Administration clients the process of which is very complex and critical (due to local law and regulatory constraints).
