Project Manager
My main role is Project Manager in the Supply Chain Segment (warehouse
management, transportation and so on). I have achieved the PMP certification (the
most important certification for project managers issued by PMI) with the highest
score. I’m involved in small and large projects with national and international
partners and clients in different market sectors, from Organized large-scale
distribution (GDO) to services (for example Vodafone, MSC Cruise).
As a Project Manager I coordinate my projects from initiating to closing, managing
the team and having an integration role from collect requirements (scope definition)
to monitor and control project performance and work, control budget and schedule,
quality and risk management. I have a great expertise in managing and keeping
involved all the stakeholders during each phase of the project and in obtaining very
good performance from the team I lead. I also deal with clients’ offers and
procurement processes (sellers' management).

During my career I was involved in many projects and in the development of some
software products in different roles: programmer, analyst, team leader and
product/project manager.
As a programmer I worked in the development of many software applications for
management, controlling and optimization of wharehouses, transportation, resources
scheduling, etc using the following sw environment: Visual C++, C#, Visual Basic.
As an analyst I had to define requirements for sw applications and products, working
face to face with users/customers and transferring requirements to programmers. The
main applications and products were in the following fields: shifts management, crew
scheduling, transport optimization, warehouses network design, public administration.
As a team leader I led different kind of teams: from small internal teams to large teams
in European projects like management of city logistics – city of Messina (European
Project), introducing an optimization sw in Czech Republic for Magneti Marelli and in
France for AfLogistics.
I was involved as product manager/project manager of the most important product
developed by the company: Travel, that is an application for transport optimization
reducing costs.. We have installed Travel in many sites everywhere in Europe. Main
customers are: Magneti Marelli, Tenaris Dalmine, Conad, Gruppo Famila, BTicino.
I worked as project manager in many projects related to Travel and to optimized
allocation among activities and resources (Referees Designation and Magistrates for
some public prosecutor’s offices)
During my career I have also worked as:
Consultant to the Systems and Telematics of Genoa
Consultant for the design of Distributive Network, Logistic Tender Management,
Determination of optimal location of warehouses, Creation of a Logistic Tender at
Magneti Marelli, multimodal transport and crew management for TSF (Tele Sistemi
Ferroviari).
Optimization by simulation for companies such as NordDiConad, Bocchiotti, Sogegross
(Basko). GDO companies such as NordDiConad, Group Famila, Pac2000 (Conad
group).
Management shifts to the Port Authority of La Spezia.
