Work Description
Follow ups and being on standby to answering phone calls from employees requiring
technical support. Said employees references those who work in a MNC company
with offices and outlets worldwide – this company represents one of many off my
employer's clients.
My current role entails:
1. Resolving technical issues faced by users with and at times without the
assistance of fellow colleagues from the Tier 2, and Tier 3 level.
2. Finding out the issue that users are having by probing accordingly with and
without troubleshooting guidelines in place where informations garnered are
passed, if need be, to the relevant department for further troubleshooting or
be resolved on the spot by myself (when it comes to certain issues).
Users I currently support are located across:
China, Taiwan (language used: Mandarin); Hong Kong and Macau (language used:
Cantonese); Singapore, Malaysia (language used: Malaysian English and
Singaporean English ); Thailand (language used: English), Australia (language used:
British English)
Languages I use to support said employees above:
English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay.
Issues I handle range from:
Windows, email accounts, users management (i.e. checking their privileges & extent
of services they're entitled to) via Active Users Directory, Remote Controlling users'
PCs via Console to Troubleshoot on certain issues, SAP credentials management,
WIFI, LAN, WAN connectivity issue, company-approved (around 25+) and 3rd party
apps credentials and other issues.
Apps that I troubleshoot range from:
SAP, CRM, Internal Employees Training System, POS app, App Store on both
mobile and desktop, Warehouse apps for both iOs on mobile and Windows 10 on
Desktop
OS that I troubleshoot on: iOs, Windows 10
Where issues are beyond my job scope, I escalate them to the relevant department
in charge to take remote control of user(s)' devices applicable to resolve the issues,
otherwise me doing the same after consulting said department
