TCMS team leader on IC4/IC2 project:
– Work of define new Work Packages for the next software development. The project estimates have been created to meet the needs of the customer to have a SIL2 project conforming to CENELC 50128. This led to the introduction of different methods of traceability and especially new project templates.
– Design and its construction of a test bed for testing functional components, and the integration among all the possible actors.
– Coordination and training of a group of software developers and test engineers.
– Direct interface with the client to define the project specifications.
– Training of staff to be included in the test team to board the train on the software used for diagnostics.

10.2011 – 04.2012
Software Engineer for Miami Metro rail:
-Evaluation on the basis of specifications of all possible SRS requirements to be implemented on software modules. Being the project SIL 2(CENELEC 50128) it provides a work unit testing on individual modules produced, to that end a methodology was designed to test directly the module Simulink / Stateflow with an interfacing via Excel worksheet.

-It was performed a maintenance work on board trains IC4 through the coordination of a team of software developers and service technicians for any precautions and modifications come out during commissioning.

Testing work on SRS for new hardware architecture of a Train Computer base platform:
– Design of unit tests on software for a new hardware architecture to be introduced on board train. It was introduced a new document for testing, involving the individual signals of IN / OUT related to the component with textual explosion of the functionality to be tested, and were considered also all cases of operation, malfunction or inappropriate use of the component. It was developed in Matlab the tool that allows the generation of reporting documents downstream the execution of the test procedure described allowing the perfect repeatability of the same and a coverage analysis generated automatically.

Validation & Verification manager on TCMS project for Metro Chongqing:
– Start-up and execution of v&v job on TCMS software for the Chongqing Metro rail. Design test cases for each requirement previously established on SRS document, construction of a test bed adequate to carry out functional tests and integration test. Introduction of standard reporting documents to ensure the possibility of successful communication between the different actors in the process (System Engineer, Software designer, Test Engineer)

Development tools for functional testing ABtest:
-Transformation of tools for functional testing company software used by each project with a software configurable at the beginning of the project to ensure the introduction of automated functional testing to all company projects. Code was optimized for operational purpose and the reporting was now automatically generated.

TCMS Software Development:
– Analysis of IC2 project specification and writing of software requirement specifications SRS (Used tools: Jira, Doors, Microsoft Word, UML)
– Analysis of IC4 TCMS software and consequent changes to adapt the project to the IC2 requirements, the control logic is entirely developed in simulink environment and subsequently transformed in C language through the tool RTW. The completion of the project takes place in a Keil Microvision environment.

– Test cases design for the TCMS software developed and creation fo documents for traceability purpose.

Control System Design Engineer – Development of control software of Magneti
Marelli body computer for engine control
Modelling and validating in Software in the Loop of a body computer software
for engine control based of specification by Magneti Marelli. In the model are
developed all engine controls of an experimental car using Matlab/SImulink
software. For a little time I worked as calibration engineer to set engine PID
parameters using Puma and Inca softwares.

Control System Design Engineer – Validation for Body Computer Function
My activities in Elasis is to develop mathematical model for Ferrari to validate
specific function of Auto Body Computer in order to test it before fisically create
it. I develop this model in Matlab ambient, expecially using Simulink and
Stateflow. Moreover I study all possible cases that the specific function can
contemplate and I write, considering all inputs and outputs, the relevants testcases
using Doors software. After that I validate my model and then I prove it
on HIL(Hardware in the loop).This phase is very important in body computer
construction because it can be tested first on a simple model that can highlight
possible problem without the fisical implementation on vehicle. To best
simulate all model I used a software named Altia that permits to have a graphic
human interface of stimulators. Every CAN net signal was analysed with
software INCA.
