The project is mainly aimed at developing a new Electric Power Steering (EPS) system for the implementation in an Electric Vehicle(EV) Car which is being developed in
collaboration between Turin Tech S.r.l and Italtechnica S.rl. The main objective as an Electronic Engineer was to implement a new Microcontroller Unit or an Electronic Control Unit to control the Electric Motor to assist the driver to steer the steering wheel effortlessly. The Microcontroller being used is of STMicroelectronics made F series Nucleo boards. The communication between the Control units are established using CAN network Technologies.
