IT Project Manager & Sr. Business Analyst

Esperienze

I have over 20 years of working experience, made-up on IT Project Management
and Business Analysis related to Insurance, Mobile Telecommunication, ITIL/ITSM and TLC fields (OSS/BSS) and Service Delivery, during which I have developed solid internal and external communication, business analysis, problem solving, budget management, leadership and team management skills and have become a strong team player. I usually coordinate developing team (internal, remote, offshored) and the outsourced ITs of our TPAs.

Currently, I’m involved in several Global/EMEA/Local initiatives, joining international and offshore teams,
acting as SME for several contexts (eCommerce, Individual business, Premium Collection, Customer Care, Operations, PCI DSS, etc..) and gathering stakeholder's requirements (usually CFO, COO, Heads of Business or VPs/AVPs) and supporting Audits (Internals, Italian Government by IVASS, Central Bank of Ireland).
One of the initiative is represented by an EMEA project (Premium Collections via SEPA) where I'm part of the Global team leading IT aspects, gathering requirements from impacted countries, giving my contribution and knowledge. During this initiative I'm able to drive the other countries to follow the approach I suggested giving them real pros and cons, based on my own experience on the specific matters and solutions found.
Another project where I'm involved is an EMEA pilot for an eCommerce platform, also supporting the
Business since the initiation time and managing the procurement process and reviewing tender's attendants.
Also, I'm the IT Risk & Security point of contact, ensuring IT department follows ITRS framework and
guidelines, representing IT in security quarterly review meetings.
During these years I was able to deliver important initiatives (Local or EMEA) to optimize and digitalizing
processes, changing approaches and identifying the right KPIs.

Some of the achievements that I had are:
– A complete ITSM platform where the Business and the IT can know the status of their VAS, which
ones can be affected by systems outage, and which services are used or not. Also, the solution
completely reviewed internal change management processes in order to optimize efficiency and
effectiveness of resources allocated. This solution was integrated with a lot of partner's systems in
order to centralize all the defragmented information in one single point.
– An Approval process platform, where managers can approve payments and reimbursement. I
reviewed the approval process flow, speeding up the approvals and digitalizing the flow with no more
paper to be signed
– Increased of 30% the incoming Premiums Collection thanks to a new Debit Collection platform,
reviewing the collection process, rescheduling collections based on Bank returns and Customers'
feedback

One of my strengths is that I do not only listen to my customers for their needs but also I like to know the big picture in order to find the better solution that can fit their expectations trying to give additional value and see beyond the simple realization of what they need evaluating the whole context.
Also, I like to establish a good relationship with business stakeholders and ITs, enabling confidence and
human interaction. I'm a person with the sense of humor and I like, if possible, use informal approach.

I have international experience, joining global teams across EMEA and US and being in contact with

Summary of qualifications
Currently, I am an IT Project Manager and Sr. Business Partner at
MetLife, since 2010.
As Team Leader, I am responsible of a local team (4 people) and manage
remote and offshored teams (SCRUM and Kanban), to deliver solutions
especially for the Direct to Consumer line of business. Team leading focus is on resource, people allocation, solution and business partnership.
As Project Manager, I deal with project plan, schedule, business analysis, risk and issue. Involved in several Local / EMEA / Global innovative transformation initiatives (eCommerce, Data Quality, SEPA,
Credit Card & PCI Compliance, GDPR, Customer Care, Global Data Centers and Virtualization, Individual & Group insurance of Line and non-Life, Single Customer View).
As Business Analyst and Solution Architect, I support the business in procurement process, in business case creation and provide analysis and solutions on processes digitalization and optimization.
As Risk & Security, I am the point of contact, ensuring IT department follows ITRS framework and guidelines, representing IT in security quarterly review meetings and supporting Audits (Internals, Italian
Government by IVASS, Central Bank of Ireland).
Since 1999 to 2010 my main work concerns Project Management and Solution Provider activities to deliver large-medium complex projects to the major Italian TLC and Media accounts (i.e. Wind, TIM, Telecom Italia, H3G, Poste, ENEL, SIAE) and a year (2004) spent in Spain for a middle complex project acting also as the SPOC for the specific customer.
Since 1997 to 1999, I was involved in middle complex projects to the major Italian Utilities accounts (i.e. Lazio Region, AGIP Petroli).
