Agnitio developed a tool for the understanding of medicals professionals needs Role:Business Intelligence Specialist, Team Leader. Team Starting team. Currently he is working at the IT office in Agnitio, a Danish company working for life science and pharmaceutical companies around the world. Agnitio developed a tool for the understanding of medicals professionals needs. He is responsible for the Business Intelligence Area. He is responsible for a new design of an analysis platform based on MS BI stack tools. His role requires to create from the beginning a BI team.
The role responsibilities cover

  • Organizational duties
    • As team leader, ensure that the team develops and deploys new features in line with company targets and performance standards
    • Motivating the team to achieve high standards and KPI targets.
    • BI Team activities coordination. Preparing daily workloads for the team and coordinate the daily allocation of work.
    • Mentoring and training up junior and new staff

    • Review of project requests based on customer need
    • Track record of delivering results with deadlines

  • Technical duties
    • Thorough understanding of BI technologies as well as a complete understanding of business processes

  • Standardization of the BI structure between different customers.

From October 2009 to July 2014 Aegis Media, London and MilanThis Company operates in the media area, providing analysis on web campaigns. Role:Business Intelligence Specialist, Team Leader. Team 10 people. He worked at the IT office in Aegis Media, an advertising media company, in Milan and London as Senior Business Intelligence Specialist. The Company collects information from specific web search engines and creates dashboard reports for clicks and impressions web activities. His role requires managing all the BI Area, developing new solutions for the creation and automation of dynamic cubes and their use with Reporting Services. The data warehouse is built upon SQL Server 2008, Analysis Services 2008 and Reporting Services 2008.

Role:Business Intelligence Specialist
Team 8 people. He worked at the IT main office at Saxo Bank in Copenhagen, in the Business Intelligence team. The BI team was responsible for mathematical programming, developing the data warehouse/business intelligence system and the CRM systems within the bank. He was working in the existing data warehouse and business intelligence solutions within Saxo Bank. He was responsible for the Business Intelligence area, providing enhancement for new analysis requests and providing MDX queries to Analytics and Reporting team. The data warehouse is primary built upon Microsoft products such as the SQL Server 2005, Analysis Services, Integration Services, various reporting tools and .Net 2.0 (C#). From June 2006 to March 2008 Vodafone, ENIVodafone is a Telco company, while ENI is the biggest power company in Italy. Role:Senior Consultant, BI Expert. Team 15 people. He worked for several companies as consultant in the Business Intelligence area; He was skilled in MS Sql Server 2005/2000,Microsoft Data warehouse framework, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, MDX and OLAP technologies. He worked inVodafone as BI Consultant and in Financial projects, developing P&C applications for analysis and budgeting using MS Sql Server 2005 Platform. In particular, he worked in the Optimized Control Project with the Gas&Power Dep. within E.N.I., that is the largest Italian power (oil, gas, electricity ) supplier.

He was also responsible of the Partner Relationship Program, where he started a partnership with Exologic, an American company that developed a porting tool for the migration of Hyperion Cubes to MS Analysis Server Cubes.

He worked as Project manager in Microsoft Services Italia, for Italcementi Group and Cedacri, where he worked in the BI Area and developed a data warehouse application with SQL Server 2000 for the analysis of production and quality data, using Analysis Server 2000 and MDX technologies. He acquired expertise in functional analysis, in relational database and business intelligence area.
During the project development for Italcementi and Cedacri, he was responsible for:

  • From January 1999 to March 2000 he worked for EKAR, a Consulting Company associated with ALTRAN Group, as program manager and team leader for the development of a Web application for sales management in KRAFT, based on ORACLE Technologies, and in Credit Suisse, for the developing of a Financial Advisors application.
  • from June 1998 to December 1998 he worked for Finsoft, software house of Turin, as a consultant for Omnitel, nowVodafone. In this context he is taking care of the management of batch modules for the Dealer Commission System. These modules are developed in Pro C and PL SQL (Oracle).
  • from January  to May 1998 he worked for Andersen Consulting, where he learned to develop modules for theintegration of applications used in the bank area for Gruppo Intesa . The modules were developed using Visual C++ and COM/ATL technology. In a second time he took care of the performance analysis of the above modules and of the problematics concerning their distribution in the banks. In the last project he worked in the Project Management group at Cassa di Risparmio of Florence, collaborating together with the Technologies Office and Architectures Office in the management of projects for the compliance of software to Euro and Year 2000.
  • from September 1997 to December 1997 he worked as a consultant for Omnitel, taking care of the control and maintenance of the system for detecting frauds (Fraud Detection System).
  • from the beginning of 1995 to September 1997 he worked as partner for BCP Office- Associated Engineers of Pavia, where he made consulting for industrial software, in particular for designing, development and testing of automation systems. He worked as commercial technician for assistance before and after the selling of the PMAC axis control board by Delta Tau. He developed a graphic editor using Visual C++ for the programming in Ladder language, for connections with control boards designed by the customer.

 

  • from 1993 to 1995 he worked as a consultant for a Software House of Pavia, where he developed a network project for Scientific Medical Informers, in SCO UNIX environment, using Informix Data Base and with insertion of data through optical pens. The application worked on ITAPAC network. He took care of data transfer among COBOL, C programs, Data Base and GUI. He developed specific knowledges about Relational Data Base, and he prepared courses about the introduction of the use of SQL language. He developed interface programs directed towards interaction among commercial software and specific software, and among machines of Medical Analysis and programs of clinical computerization.
