I’m responsible for project management, pre-sales and deployment activities related to the HSIA, IPTV,Digital Signage and Voice network projectsin 4- and 5-star hotels located in Italy, Malta, Balkan countries, Russia with particular focus on:
· Full life cycle Project management activity starting from the Customer identification by the Sales team, solution design, costs estimations, proposal elaboration, deployment scheduling, time, costs and risk management, acceptance testing and project roll-out. Responsible for the project with the budgets up to 500K euro.
· Elaboration of the project documentation for the bids (RFI/RFP), network diagrams, technical proposals and Bills of Quantities for commercial proposals.
· Pre-sales role during the project negotiation with the hotels, customer demos and compatibility tests planning.
· Dual and Triple Play network design (High Speed Internet Access networks Wi-Fi and Wired, Connected TV and IPTV, Voice solutions, SKY integration projects, Room automation systems) based on portfolio of Swisscom Hospitality products and hardware vendors like: Hewlett Packard, Dell, Cisco Systems, Ruckus Wireless, LG, Samsung, Philips, Comtrend.
· Perform site surveys to determine existing project environment and define project specifications.
· Collect vendor quotations and establish investment costsof equipment-development-deployment for the projects in cooperation with Account Managers. Project costs optimization.
· Selection, training, technical assistance and supervision of the local partner companies executing the physical network installations.
· Direct execution and supervision of deployment process: activities scheduling, project plan elaboration, equipment and service ordering using SAP system.Project costs and riskcontrol.
· Interface with the Swisscom NOC specialists in Portugal, France and Switzerland in order to integrate new hotel infrastructures into the Corporate Head-end systems (Big Data integration) and to resolve the critical network issues during deployment.
· Launch and approve the Site Acceptance testing,collect and verify the complete site documentation to be delivered to the Hoist NOC Maintenance team after the project deployment.
· Post-sales technical support and maintenance coordination for 140 hotels located in Mediterranean region, with approximate value from 60 up to 700 active network devices installed in a single hotel.
Urmet TLC SpaTurin / Ivrea/ Rome offices, Italy 05.2008 – 10.2011 Product Manager / Demand Manager
I was responsible for the Projects related to the Major Customer Accounts of Urmet TLC:
· “Hot Spot Wi-Fi with Recharge from Public phones”; Customer – Telefonica Spain:
· The project target was to deliver an integrated hardware and software system, able to support up to 15.000 802.11b/g Hot Spot Wi-Fi zones installed in small commercial spaces: bars, super markets, cinemas, etc. Centralized user accounts database (MySql 5) collects all statistics and billing information about Internet surfing and the system provide a real time accounting/authentication/authorization features from FreeRadius server to Mikrotik Hot Spot routers. Integration with Club Executive public phones permits the Internet user to recharge their Hot Spot accounts from the coin and credit cards phones installed in the same location. Additional service for mobile phone recharge will be available in the system.
· My main activities within the project:
· support country sales manager to identify the suitable technical solution and a product portfolio;
· perform feasibility studies and prepared technical responses to the request of proposal (RFP);
· design system and network architecture and collect interface specifications from external suppliers (mobile phones recharge services);
· identify the external suppliers for Billing system and Hot Spot routers;
· interface with Urmet R&D department in order to compose the project scheduler and development plan;
· provide time and cost analysis to sales department and elaborate the Gantt project document.
· “Sirio Maxi by Alice” Project – Video Phone model v315; Customer – Telecom Italia (TI):
· Provide direct support for TI specialists during acceptance and network compatibility test sessions, executed in TILab (Turin) and TI Test Plant (Rome, via Val Cannuta);
· Collect changes to RFI documents, collect and track technical problems and bugs discovered by customer and ensure the correct Change Request delivery to local development team and external software house;
· Managed regression tests on software release in Urmet lab, with particular attention to: SIP compatibility for audio/video calls; management, provisioning and software upgrade tests TR-069; compatibility with Telecom Italia widget services;
· Product successfully delivered to Telecom Italia – 6.000 pcs.
· “Aladino VoIP New” Project – DECT IP phone, based on SIP protocol; Customer – Telecom Italia (TI):
· Act as a Focal point for all technical issues discovered during acceptance and integration test sessions;
· Tracking customer issues and requirements; software releases planning and scheduling; execute intermediate test sessions in Turin/Ivrea Lab to ensure the correct bug fixing;
· Interaction with external development teams: DSP Company (Israel) and IvreaSistemi SpA (Italy);
· Directly followed on-site test sessions in TI Rome Labs to ensure SIP compatibility between the phone and TI Class 5 service platform;
· “Video Phone – MP315”; Customer – Deutsche Telekom (DT):
· Managed regression tests on software releases during development phase; TR-069 integration/compatibility tests with DT ACS server; TR-069 compatibility tests with ACS server developed by Nesit SpA;

I was responsible on the following activities:
· Responsible for pre-sales / post-sales technical support of Force10 Networks L3 switches/routers; Telsey L2/L3 switches and Residential Gateways with VoIP support; Alcatel enterprise switches; X-Conn fiber products; Epygi Quadro IP PBXes, Mikrotik and Motorola Canopy WiFi routers and Access points;
· Executed field installations; developed project documentation, managed deployment activities and installations for the following customers: BB-Bell, Digital TV/Parla.it, Net-T, Celestix, Ward Service, Golf Club-Castel Conturbia, Golf Club-S.Anna, ClearItalia, Selene ASM, Fondazione S.Carlo, Euroce99, Teledvigrad, etc…

This Linux based VoIP application is integration DualBand GSM/Wi-Fi mobile phones (HP iPAQ, Nokia E61i, E90 etc) with the existing customer PBX, providing a possibility to use WiFi network for a calls made within the office building or in HotSpot environment;
