The Project

A migration project from VB6 to a multitier, SOA architecture based on an AngularJS  UI backed by an integration (a FUSE ESB is also part of the solution design) and a backend layer.

It has to be delivered within 15 months (rollout date in production environment) for a total effort well above 12k man days involving at least 4 off-shore teams.

The real challenge is to evolve the initial idea of a pure waterfall approach to anAgile ones, creating a complete “project environment” to track and keep under control both cost and progress.

For this reason, I’m taking a deep-dive into Confluence and JIRA, understanding how to customize them with both plugins and scripts.
