Sommario

I am interested in innovation and research, especially in Fluid Dynamics, as I studied and worked on during my education and my working experience, in Italy and abroad, in England and Germany, cooperating in multidisciplinary and international teams dedicated to aerospace and automotive. In England, for instance, I studied gas turbine engines (Thermal power: Aerospace Propulsion) together with English, Indian, Spanish and Polish students and in Aachen (Germany) I used to work in international teams, involved in exciting challenges every day.

PROJECTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES 2014 (ongoing) Horus Project (Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy) Cooperation between Departments of Cultural Heritage and Space Studies in order to use aerial imagery for archaeological research. The project consists of using two drones, one of them custom-built with components off-the-shelf, and existing data to analyze two archaeological sites and build three-dimensional models of the areas. I was among the project promoters and I supported the students during the preliminary phases of the drone's design. Main roles: project promoter and support to engineering students for drone and mission design. 2013 Progetto EgittoVeneto (Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy) The Department of Cultural Heritage studied old material from an Italian expedition in Egypt during the '30s: part of the materials consisted of aerial photographs of the digging site. I supported the project by performing a research about the possible instruments used at the time to perform such photographs and presented my findings during lectures and conferences. Main role: external support, researcher.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION While studying at the university I also used to work at a tourist information point during the weekends and as a private tutor for high school students. I joined a university association aimed at preserving and spreading university historical traditions by organizing events and parties. I practiced swimming for several years and have been going to a gym for one year, I also tried rugby for a short time while I was in UK.
