02/2015 – Current Cargeas S.p.a. IT Project Manager As IT Project Manager I'm in charge I’m following several projects Soa Architecture evolution Redesign it backend in order to improve: scalability , security, data consistency in a pure SOA architecture. My activities includes IT roadmap definition, KPI definition , team staffing , project plan , execution and control of 3 teams geographically distributed (systems, backend, services) . Ticketing Process I’m defining the process to manages ticketing, support and escalation. My activities regards the process flow definition, SLA , KPI and reporting . Digital APP I’m involved ad SME in the requirement definition of the APP, and as IT PM in order to define the roadmap , KPI, project plan execution and control.
06/2014 – 02/2015 Zurich S.p.a. Project Manager Agile As Project Manager I'm in charge of building the new Customer and Intermediary portal for Italian business unit. This will include CBA analysis, Staffing, team definition, quality and risk management. I'm also in responsible for the transformation from a traditional waterfall approach to an agile development.
08 / 2012 – 06/2014 Jobrapido S.r.l. Technical Leader / Scrum Master As tech lead of Jobrapido, I lead a team of 5 engineers for more than two years. My great success has been the complete migration of the backend from a legacy code to a j2ee stack. My team worked on a tight schedule, it was supposed that 2 teams would have worked on it (8 people) but due to some business changes in priorities he complete the whole migration using 5 out 8 of the resources, but on time. We used a mix of scrum (for the early phases of projects) and Kanban (for the latest part). As result jobrapido boost up its performance reducing the number of servers and databases (Italy used to have 4 instance of the Database, now it has one) With the migration Jobrapido increased the productivity by having lots of the components of the j2ee stack out of the shelf, being able to hire people with j2ee skills instead of hardly finding people with Cachè (the old langue) In this role I applied most of the agile practices like: • Acting as Facilitator to ensure team isolation, removing obstacles. • Tracking and measure team velocity during scrum. • Organize regular ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) • Be sure that tech best practice were applied, like TDD, Tech review and unit test coverage • Also my goal was to share knowledge between engineers and let them be happy to code and to grow up as people & professional. One of them was promoted to Sr. software engineer, and another one became the Datawarehouse technical leader. During these two years I've been also appointed ad Product Owner of search (ad interim role) . During three months I've studied a new way to rank adverts in SERP in order to optimize relevance and CTR.s
08 / 2010 – 2012 Jobrapido S.r.l. Sr. Software Engineer As Sr. Software engineer I’ve developed the new BO architecture using GWT and GUICE, the email messaging systems, and part of the backend systems. I build a framework to perform AB Tests on the website, including tracking and reporting for the various tests. The most interesting part was building a systems that could both work with cache and J2EE environment.

This systems is actually used by financial promoter of Rasbank to evaluate Portfolio risks for the retail customer. I designed, developed and delivered an architecture for Quantitative Asset Managers of Allianz Global Investor It to manage portfolio investment using statistical analysis. I was responsible for a team of seven external consultants, with a mixture of competences from Database developing to J2EE and Matlab development.

It has been my first work esperience, as developer I had the chance to research and develop new LDAP platform, based on OpenLDAP architecture.
