Project Overview: 

    ZERO EYES LENDING project is a mission to automate the lending process in order to make it a straight through processing system with minimum manual intervention and hence adding value to the business processes through minimizing risks, shortened delays, reduced human errors and lower levels of people orchestration to reduce costs and achieve better data quality and usability.
Responsibilities:
Developing features aligned with the rhythm of DEV/Ops teams within the domain in a high impact agile development environment and have them implemented in an E2E context where functional and non-functional aspects are covered through continuous collaboration. Software engineering best practices used with constant focus on improving the way of working, procedures and all output delivered to support from a strategic perspective for both the business and IT road maps. Good understanding of the banking systems in general and broader view towards IT architectures are the skills that help me determine the impact of certain choices. Project Overview: 

                     Loans IT project of deutsche bank is technically centered on LoanIQ and hundreds of interfaces developed around the product using multiple technologies like C++, Java, shell scripting, etc. This IT landscape supports the loans business for DB across the globe for all time zones. There are interfaces for payments pertaining to SWIFT standards, internal money transfer payments across geographies, foreign currency updates, feed files for downstream systems which are auditing and reconciliation partners and so on.
Responsibilities:
Working as a lead LoanIQ analyst involves participating in multiple projects and activities on a day to day basis. At DB in LS2 project we follow a monthly delivery sprint as part of the continuous delivery program. The new feature are implemented and delivered on monthly basis. Requirement gathering, functional & technical analysis, effort estimation, development, testing and deployment of these deliverables on monthly basis is the primary responsibility which were within the scope. Prioritize the book of work (backlog) and take up tasks for future releases and plan work accordingly. Additionally involved in the process improvement where we are planning the continuous integration process for the IT landscape. Also involved in capacity planning for the team which is dependent on the future tasks and their estimations made, project / task progress reporting to higher management.

Product Overview: 

                     LoanIQ is a product used by leading financial institutions worldwide to optimize, automate and develop their lending business. LoanIQ is a fully integrated commercial lending system with true STP capabilities and loan processing system covering everything from bilateral loans to highly structured, syndicated deals. It is a single and multi-entity, multi-currency global platform with real-time information, available 24 x 7.
Responsibilities:
With the role of an individual contributor, the responsibilities start from understanding the requirements by discussions with the business analysts and with the client personnel. Preparing a high level estimate and design is the first step. Preparation of the low level design or the technical design document and discussing the same with the architects in order to make any design changes if required. Development, unit testing, QA test support follow till the enhancement is delivered to the client, which is followed by post delivery support. Apart from development work in the core team, I have been actively involved in supporting the Business solutions Group (BSG) team to understand various business functionalities who work on new proposals and the Professional teams (PS) who work with the new customers in helping them set up the LoanIQ either as completely new players in the syndicated lending market or who have migrated from different / competitor systems. A part of my responsibilities also include supporting clients who have been upgraded to newer versions of LoanIQ system in terms achieving better performance of various functions.

1. Project Title:    T-MOBILE CARMEN Transition & Development

Project Overview: 
        It was the transition of the T-Mobile Customer Care and Relationship management system called as CARMEN. The CARMEN system is one of the unique CRM systems which is developed on its own and not using any of the COTS products. This whole system which consists of 100s of applications working together is completely built using C++ on UNIX and Windows. All these applications are built on various frameworks out of which the TFC (T-mobile framework classes) is the bottommost layer and I was a part of this module. Maintaining this framework and enhancements to be made as per the new demands for every release which occurred quarterly was to be done.  Along with the TFC, I was a part of the core technical team and support team as well.
Responsibilities:
        Working as a developer here were major responsibilities are development of the change requests which involves C++ programming in UNIX and a little bit on windows as well. It also involves multithreaded application programming using the third party libraries like ACE and SSL. Along with C++ application development, the database used here is Oracle 10g. Shell scripting is also involved as per the need or situation. Designing of new requirements, Development, implementation and post implementation support are the tasks mainly involved per release.

1. Project Title:    NDS Order Matching – Phase 1 & Phase 2

Project Overview: 
        It is a screen based on-line anonymous order matching trading system for Government and Treasury Bills Securities on the Negotiated Dealing System (RBI-NDS-GILTS-Order Matching Segment). The system is promoted by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and The Clearing Corporation of India Limited (CCIL). The first version of the application system was developed which was extended to include the functionalities such as auto refresh queries, dynamic market watch, user privileges and user management. Along with the regular market, system also facilitates the online trading in When Issued Market. 
Responsibilities:
        Initially I was working as a developer in C++ over UNIX in the project. Later on took the responsibility of working as a team lead for several modules which involved designing of requirements, implementations and support post implementation. Mentoring of candidates was also a part of my job. 

2. Project Title:    OPT II PHASE II
Client:        CANADIAN IMPERIAL BANK OF COMMERCE (CIBC), Toronto, Canada
       Period:        August 2007 – August 2008
       Role:                   Team Member

Project Overview: 
        This project was basically the re-architecture of the current application, which was written in C++ and runs on IBM AIX servers. The purpose of which was to optimize the application and improve the performance of it. It had to be migrated to the Sun Solaris servers. This resulted in the change of compiler from Xlc to Sun Studio 11 CC compiler, as a result of which the makefiles used for compilation had to be modified. The major modifications were in the compiler options & the linking options being used. As the entire architecture of the project was changed like the way files are being transferred, the scheduler being used was changed. The database version was upgraded from db2 7.1 to db2 8.2.
