Achievements in my current position BankSeta – Women’s Development Programme Selected as 1 of 15 women nationally in South Africa across the Financial Services Sector to participate in the 2008 Bankseta – Women’s Development Programme. The programme included an international learnership experience in India giving exposure to international business practices in leading Indian businesses. Companies visited in India included ICICI Bank, NABARD, TATA Group, Haresh Bijoor Consulting, Azim Premji Foundation, the Firstrand Banking Group in India and the Grameen Bank. The insights gained through this opportunity gave me a special link to the importance of social relevance in the world of business. Mobilisation the Payment Capability in PBB – Business Operations I was strategically and operationally involved in identifying and mobilising the Payment processing subcapability within PBB-Business Operations. During this time, I was participative in setting up and aligning this stream at an enterprise level as well as creating an inherent awareness to begin leadership transformation towards the need for a Payment Stream within the bank. Cash Services Model As a Business Process Architect, I was allocated the architecture for Business Operations. During this time, I was participative in identifying the Cash Services footprint for mobilisation into South Africa and its alignment to other areas of the bank such a CIB and its other counterparts in the Bank. Integrated Processing Centre and Business Fulfilment Centres As a Business Process Architect, I worked on the journey from a BFC environment to that of an IPC. During this time, I was participative in identifying the business processes aligned to this journey, their rationalisation, centralisation and optimisation. MultiChannel and Payments Architecture As a Business Architect I worked on defining the bank’s Payment and MultiChannel Architecture and the strategic journey required to achieve these states. This required understanding international best practice, an intimate understanding of the bank’s business processes in these realms as well a the technical and data requirements that affect the business in these areas.
