Principali attività e responsabilità I have taught as a TA both in experimental courses and grade subjects Lab 1 and Lab 3. The experiments conducted in Lab 1 introduce elemental concepts such as direct and indirect measurement, error propagation systems and management of data acquisition systems. Acceleration of gravity is also measured, as well as harmonic and circular motion, and conservation theorems of classic mechanics. The experiments performed in Lab 3 are related to electricity and magnetism, deepening both instrumental techniques and knowledge of the scientific method. This course enables students to learn the correct handling of basic instruments for electrical and magnetic measurements as well as to strengthen their knowledge of electromagnetism through direct experience.

Principali attività e responsabilità The CAC is a research facility where a vast range of activitites are covered, all connected with nuclear technologies, ranging from basic and applied research to technology development and transference, including precompetitive production. I was in charge of handling a Sputtering machine placed in the lab clean room (Sputtering is a process whereby atoms are ejected from a solid target material due to bombardment of the target by energetic particles. This process can be used in thin-film deposition, etching, and analytical techniques. Tasks Assigned: Handling of the Sputtering machine; design of the electric layout of the lab; supplies of gases for the clean room.

Principali attività e responsabilità Optical retarders are needed at different stages for a variety of instruments and devices used in the optics industry. Choosing the most suitable type depends mainly on the energy density and bandwidth. With the aid of the scholarship Estímulo, granted by the UBA, I designed and built a device unlike the existing ones, in which the delay is caused by the total reflection (ordinary and/or extraordinary) in an interface formed by an isotropic medium and a non-absorbent uniaxial crystal.
