In this period I performed a full range of ADSL certification testing, based on the recommendation TR100 issue2. System under test: a new CPE / router ADSL / VDSL by ADB Broadband. Vodafone new CPE proposed to be marketed as Vodafone Station 3 (Revolution). For this job I used the complete test set from Spirent instruments (DLS-400 & DLS-414) inside Ericsson labs and Full automated systems created with my colleagues when I was employed in Ericsson. During these test we performed comparative test with previous CPE version by Huawei. Both CPE versions have been tested following "Broadband forum" Test plant and Stress test environment. from 2006 to 2012 Team Leader – CPE Interoperability Test Lab Ericsson Telecommunications S.p.A. ▪ For six years I was in charge as Team Leader the interoperability test lab related to modem / router ADSL / VDSL2. Consisting of 10 computers running Windows and a Linux virtual machine. ▪ In addition to coordinating the group (up to 5 people), drawing up the planning documents and project, I took care to carry out all the procedures and processed just to facilitate the work of the whole international team composed by people from Italy and India. ▪ Together with two other developers Hardware and Software we have designed and implemented several HW/SW solutions to speed up increase the quality of all tests performed. We were able to automate up to 90% of our tests. ▪ I focused on new consultants training on the job, teaching them the basics of the software we used, processes and testing procedures, I produced several how-to documents just to speed up new employees integration inside the team. ▪

From 2008 to 2010, starting from Silicon Valley we gain responsibility of all xDSL interoperability testing on the AT&T access network, with the opportunity to test all of their products solutions for the American market. We performed a complete set of ADSL/VDSL2 test over all CPE proposed by AT&T in the U.S. market. Following, TR-100, TR-114 & TR-115 specification Tests. ▪ Throughout this period we have had the responsibility of interoperability and comparative tests for Telia Sonera network, verifying the proper upgrade of all Ericsson equipment to new versions of Broadcom xDSL chipset, testing all Telia CPEs sold in the field Vs our equipment. ▪ Great experience collection of low-level testing of xDSL systems based on SoC Broadcom.
