In addition, OIC Analytics is built on Oracle's robust analytics platform ensuring rich insight across the organization to help drive sales productivity, while controlling costs and increasing sales performance.
It is a framework for Sales Performance Management (SPM) based on a data mart of key performance metrics regardless of whether or not these metrics are incentivized.
Commissionable metrics are brought into OIC for commission calculation and brought back to enrich the performance data mart. Executives and Product Marketing/Product Line Managers are provided with actionable sales performance analytics. Oracle Incentive Compensation plays a part in determining cash and other tangible rewards to pay employees, partners, customers, and any nonemployee role in an organization. With Oracle Incentive Compensation one can align quota targets with corporate revenue, volume, and profit targets. It can determine when to compensate salespeople, for example, when the order is booked, an invoice is created, or payment is received. The application can also help you set the appropriate pay frequency to match the unique needs of the product or sales cycle. Oracle Incentive Compensation comprises of the Configuration Workbench, Collection, Transactions, Plan Administrator, Calculation, Payment and the Reports Modules.

Albertson’s provides Bonus/Incentive for their employee’s based on various performance measures.
I was involved in Requirement gathering, Fit/Gap analysis, Technical Design, Identifying Tables and Attributes with respect to the design, Developed Plan-Prototype for two bonus plans, Customization of SIM product as per the requirement, preparing application model specification for UI’s, preparing Interface specification for the proposed Application Engines like Load Engine, Qualification Engine, Transaction Creation and Allocation Engine and Target Bonus Calculation Engine, Data conversion, fixing issues during the SIM Environment Setup and Test Plan.

The PeopleSoft Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM) solution addresses the definitive goal of mature incentive management software to capture and calculate incentive pay data, creating compensation information that can be communicated to incentive plan participants and adjusted as needed before final payout. SIM is designed to allow organizations to administer participant incentive compensation in an accurate and timely manner. Organizations can use EIM to map their business processes, and then process imported reference and transaction data through user-defined compensation structures to create payments to award to participants. After processing, payment information is made available by publishing to participants through display pages, which also provide extensive compensation-related reporting functionality.
