Giugno 2015 – Oggi Target Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore, India Target Corporation India is the technical wing of Target Corporation, the second  larget retailing company in United States after Walmart. I am part of the Performance management team of Target.com which the E-Store of Target. As part of the performance team, the core responsibility of our team is to certify the release for performance before it is send out for production deployment.
My core responsibilities in the team can be summarized as follows,

·         Reviewing the load test runs report performed by the team. Tools used for load test were SOASTA for load generation and Dyna Trace for Server monitoring

·         Analysisng the Load Runner Scripts created for test data generation and validation

·         Particapate in weekly performance test runs

·         Created perl scripts for the team to pull out important details from the logs for quick and efficient reporting

·         Worked on various SQL queries that helped team prepare test data with promotionaland non promotional items

·         The SQL script reduced the test data creation time windown by 60%

·         Participate in daily hand off call with the onsite counterparts

·         Interact with various stake holders such as AT&T team where our production servers are hosted, Reporting Team that provide Control M reports, Teams from varios tracks such as Search, checkout, browse, UI etc

·         Worked on streamlining the Batch job run and benchmarking process using Control M

·         Performed scalability testing to ensure 100% availability of the E-Store during US holiday peak season

Novembre 2012 – Giugno 2014 Capgemini Pune, India A) IT Consultant (WCS ) – Sears Holdings India Sears IT and Management Services (India) Pvt. Limited, also known as Sears Holdings India (SHI) provides corporate IT services to Sears Holdings Corporation and its family of companies including Sears Roebuck and Co. and Kmart Corporation. It works as an extended arm to the core Information Technology (IT) team of SHC, located in the United States, in developing and maintaining mission-critical systems used by SHC subsidiaries.
Out of many projects handled by SHI, I am part of the Browse Team. The purpose of the project is to look after any issues, enhancements or change request that comes related to following areas of the Sears and Kmart websites i.e. Category Page, Search Result Page, Product Details Page, Catalog Structure, Add to Cart, Promotions, Search Engine Optimization etc.
As a WCS Consultant to SHI, I was the first member of the newly formed Browse team. Thus, I have major responsibilities that can be summarized as,
Organizing  WCS KT and training sessions to the new members that joined the team
Work with the team manager to estimate, manage, implement and deploy different business requirements
Look over teams task and help them in developing agreed solutions
Preparing requirement document and progress report
Participate in meeting with onsite manager in defining the scope of requirement, planning timescales and effort needed
Liaising with business to understand the requirements and track the queries / assumptions
Monitor latest build and ensure that provided solution worked as per the requirement
Sync with QA team and look over any JIRA ticket that they opened
Perform POC (Proof Of Concept) for complex functionalities

Luglio 2010 – Novembre 2012 Sapient Gurgaon,India A) Team Lead (WCS /JAVA) Development of E-Commerce platform: MCFP July 2012 to November 2012
The purpose of the project was to create a Business to Consumer (B2C) commerce solution for Marks and Spence (M&S).  M&S plans to revamp it online presence through new ecommerce platform built on WCS7. The iconic platform code named MCFP (Multi Channel Foundation Platform) will help M&S move to a completely new, enhanced and secure system and become independent from Amazon ecommerce platform which it used at present. The project involved integration with various systems for different operations like,
Day CQ5 was used as the content management system
Sterling acted as the order management and fulfillment agent
Search was implemented through ENDECA
My role in the project involved,
Estimation, Analysis and Design of the various Modules like Consignment Management, Introduction of new payment methods like employee discount, gift voucher, coupons
Provide ramp up to the new members in the team
Hold daily stand up meeting with the team to check on the progress of the tasks
Participate in the weekly status meeting with the senior managers regarding updates on project
Sync with members from different teams like the Sterling , CQ5 , QA, UX and onsite coordinator
Maintaining project status / tasks on ResultSpace 3 tool
Identifying any issues, risks, assumption and raising with the respective stakeholders
Code review of the programs written by the team
b) Senior Developer (WCS / JAVA) Development of E-Commerce platform: KNV Reloaded July 2010 to June 2012
The purpose of the project was to develop a Business to Consumer (B2C) commerce solution for KNV (Germany's leading book wholesaler, publishing house and exporter). We created Shop Configurator and four template stores for KNV that would allow it to automate the process of opening and maintaining of E-Stores for its tenants. This solution has provided a strong online presence to KNV and they already have more than 400 shops online with various tenants across Europe. Shop Configurator was also recognized by IBM as an excellent use of WCS.
During the course of 2 years, I worked in various roles in the project from Java Developer to Track lead. A summarization of it is as follows,
