 Responsibilities

·         Handle the Oracle (OEM, RAC,data guard&ASM , RAMAN backup), MS SQL (Always on, Replication) Maria DB (MY SQL)&PostgreSQL(EFM) databasesadministration supports.

·         Monitoring data growth, row migration, table space fragmentation and correcting the problem. Implementing Capacity Planning and sizing the table space accordingly.

·         Enhance database performance, perform restores, implement recovery procedures, handle performance tuning and conduct regular system backups. Ensure technical and functional designs meet business requirements.

·         Designed and planned a zero downtime upgrades of databases.

·         Maintain proper access control to databases to only authorized users and applications. Review audit alerts and security protocols to ensure unauthorized access requests are identified, reported, and researched.

·         Apply appropriate Operating System& Database patches.

·         Work with storage administrators and backup administrators for access and reporting.

·         Coordinate with vendors to implement the new projects, prepared the invoices for new projects, done the project estimations and allocate the budgets.

·         Conduct Security vulnerability assessment, review and recommend security infrastructure as well databases.

·         Meeting regularly with senior managers, stakeholders, project teams and team leaders to review status, make recommendations, and resolve problems.Working with both on and off shore solution providers.

·         Provide technical guidance and direct assistance to headquarters and regional offices regarding implementation of corporate wide application systems and IT infrastructure issues and practices.

·         Participated in Disaster recovery.

·         Working on Azure & Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, S3,RDS, Aurora& IAM).

Role: Sr. Executive(Senior Database Administrator& Infra-Data Center) 

Responsibilities

·         Manage Oracle (OEM, RAC, data guard& ASM, RAMAN backup), MS SQL server (Cluster, Replication, Always On), no SQL databases,PostgreSQLand MY SQL database administration. Enhance database performance, perform restores, implement recovery procedures, handle performance tuning and conduct regular system backups. Ensure technical and functional designs meet business requirements.

·         Migrated the data from Oracle database(10g &11g) to MSSQL(2012 & 2014) used SSMA.

·         Setup the new clustering databases in the both environments (Oracle (11g, 12c) and MS SQL Server 2014 (Active/Passive & Always On).

·         Build the standalone 2008 R2 database environment for our new financial system called as Sun System.

·         Participate in the oracle database versionup gradation project from 10g to 11g.

·         Initiated and upgraded from MSSQL 2005 to MSSQL 2012 R2 for our online system called as I channel.

·         Implemented the Veeam Backup solutions for VM & MSSQL DB servers & HP Data protector for Oracle Databases.

·         Converted from physical to virtualization around 30 server used Veeam converter.

·         Created new MY SQL 5.X environment for our mobile application system.

·         Configured the Pentaho data integration tool (ETL) for data replication for Sompo regional data warehouse system.

·         Build the New DR site in the Singapore for our APAC regional countries.Data Centre upgrading.

·         Worked on the oracle Golden Gate (OGG) project which going to be replicated the real-time data from production to operation environment (One Way).
