Numerical and experimental study of optical fiber sensors based on plasmonic/photonic nanostructures for biomedical applications
March 14 – June 15 Research fellow at CeRICT scrl (Benevento, Italy, www.cerict.it/it/) within th (1 year, 3 months) project “Smart Health 2.0” (PON04a2_C – CUP ricerca B81H12000650005).
Development of an opto-fluidic system aimed at testing the optical fiber biosensors:
– design and development of the fluidic circuit and the electronic circuit for the remote control of the whole machine by means of a Labview GUI;
– co-operation with a mechanical engineer for the development of the sensor integration system and the machine case;
– experimental tests for the validation of the system.
