Project Manager of SELEX ELSAG for the DHL Italian Hub Project. DHL Express planned to combine, the operations of two existing facilities as part of the domestic convergence program. The new facility had to be capable of the most efficient operations, whilst acting as an integral part of DHL’s Local and International Road network. The project included the design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of a 15.000 pph Material Handling System, which was realized in the DHL’s Milano Carpiano International Hub.

Project Manager of SELEX ELSAG for electromechanical and IT maintenance of the Malpensa Airport Baggage Handling System. The project includes the maintenance activities needed for the electromechanical and IT maintenance of the BHS installed by SELEX ELSAG. The project needs the management of a 7 x 24H service on site.

Project Manager of SELEX ELSAG for the SICOTE Project The “Arma dei Carabinieri” needed a Countrywide Control System (SICOTE) including new network and IT systems. SELEX ELSAG responsibility was the design, implementation, installation, commissioning and testing of the IT infrastructure.

Project Manager of SELEX ELSAG for the SMSOC Project. The Command, Control, Communications and Computers Division (Defense Command C4) of the Italian Ministry of Defense oversees computer networks and complex support systems related to the connectivity for the country’s armed forces. The Command C4 needed to consolidate and standardize IT resources to support a broad strategic network for national security. SELEX ELSAG responsibility was the design, installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of the network and IT infrastructure.

Project Manager of SELEX ELSAG for the SIVA Project. System for the record and automatic post-processing of the information produced by domestic and international broadcast stations. Customer: Quirinale – Presidenza della Repubblica Italiana.
2004 – 2006 (type of project Physical Security)
Project Manager of SELEX ELSAG for the TURIN 2006 – XX Olympic Winter Games Sites – Security Integrated System Project.
For the 26th Winter Olympic Games held in Turin in 2006, was designed and implemented the integrated security system of 21 Olympic sites scattered across Piedmont. The project involved civil works for the construction of 21 security control centers, the installation of 700 video cameras, 100 km of optical fibers and 50 km of power cables. Training courses were also organized for operators and, during competition events, constant technical assistance was provided by onsite personnel.
2003 – 2004 (type of project Physical Security)
Project Manager of SELEX ELSAG for the S3I – Italian Army project Italian Army needed the development of an integrated security system for some of its critical sites. The project developed, tested and deployed on different sites a solution which, comprising sensors, video cameras and alarm relay systems, manages all aspects of security in sensitive areas.

Project Manager of SELEX ELSAG for the Integrated Logistic Support for the HORIZON Frigates. The project encompassed not only the ILS studies for the logistic support of the Italian and French frigates, but also the design, the implementation and the deployment in the Italian and French naval bases of the electronic and mechanical equipment needed for the maintenance and training activities.

2000 – 2002 Project Leader of FINCANTIERI for the NIREUS Project. Goal of the Project was the design, development, deployment and maintenance of a virtual prototyping platform for air-sea operations. Customer: NATO. As Project Leader of an international team I was assigned to different military and industrial locations around Europe for the development of the project.
2000 – 2001 Project Leader of FINCANTIERI for the SOAP Project. The project included the implementation, deployment and maintenance of a software product for sea keeping calculations. Customer: FINCANTIERI, ABS
1999 – 2000 Project Leader of FINCANTIERI for the NAVIM Project. Goal of the project was the implementation, deployment and maintenance of a software platform devoted to hull design. Customer: Italian Navy

– 2 BA-type heat treatment furnaces in hydrogen atmosphere (650 mm)

– 1 edge preparation line (rounded – trimmed)
– 2 automatic packing lines for wide and narrow strip
