Nordcom is the IT branch of the FNM Group, the second railways company in Italy; we supply IT services from Infrastructure to software products to Trenord (regional transports on train), FNM (Ferrovie Nord Milano), public and private hospitals, payment services for public companies CPAY PAGOPA and Pay as you go services.

July 2017 – Software development manager of company’s payment gateway: Cpay PagoPa.
Cpay is a payment gateway that enable our customers to receive payments through Credit cards, Wire Transfer, other banks services, paypal. Written in Java, web interface, json rest services, Postgres database.
The gateway is on our servers (will move to the cloud soon), integrated in customer’s website, and relays payments with a unified interface.
PagoPa – Is a payment service that is complaint to AGID (agenzia per l’italia digitale) standards, so is usable by public authorities and government bodies.
My daily work is: revising the roadmap of the product, leading the development as software development manager, getting, and evaluating, feedback from customers and support people.
Upselling to customers, getting ideas from customers and sales to evolve the product.
Talking with stakeholders (senior management, line managers, customers representatives), finding new ways that intersect product roadmap with integration projects needs.
Agile development using Jira, Confluence, Kanban boards to visualize the efforts and the results, understanding estimates and helping developers team in keeping them real.
Improving communication: every team member know where we are, where we must go, his part in the sprint.
Nine people, including myself, are part of the team, the roles are: developer, support, sales, technical solutions manager.

Principali attività e responsabilità I have worked as a contractor for almost eight years, with different customers.
My core activities were in the field of software development from Senior Analyst programmer (3 years) up to technical project manager (5 years) roles. International team coordination experience.

Main Customers and experiences
• 2012: Wincor Nixdorf, Milano (Italy) (software for Retail consumer support): leading the project for a total rewriting (four coders), of the, Retail management system, of Wincor Nixdorf Tp.net, for Golden Lady, to load the data on the POS of every shop in Italy, from a Sap web service. We gone from one hour for a single shop to 1 hour and half for all the 500 shops in Italy. Keeping always open communication with Germany and Ukrainian teams.

• 2011: Unicredit, Milano (Italy) (Banking): as a technical project manager, I leaded the team (two coders) that rewrote the software for log analysis of the Kana knowledge system, the new software (C#/Sql server), was 100 times faster than the old one in Perl. The team was between: Milano, Roma, Austria.

• 2004-2012: Hellma Italia, Milano (Italy) (NIR appliances): as It Manager my main duties were keeping Internal servers (Linux/Windows server) online, at the same time I was the main interface for the external software companies and coordinated hardware and software integration between NIR Spectra analysis hardware made by Zeiss for Italian customers: Glaxo. Coordinating team effort between Jena (Germany) and Milano (Italy).

• 2004-2007: Samsung Medison Italia (former Sedas), Milano (Italy) (Medical Ultrasound systems): as it and project manager DICOM supervise integration with ultrasound system, creating internal software for the maintenance of Ultrasound systems. It responsible for public and private hospitals. Coordinating team effort between Amsterdam, Milano, South Korea.
