Summary
I worked in several company with different sizes, ranging from very small business to
medium sized international companies. During my career I confronted myself with all the
typical challenges of corporate IT, going from PC installation to taking strategic decisions. I
am a strong supporter of IT as “game changer” and process enabler in a modern organised
business environment. I envision the IT as the nervous system of modern business
organisation and consider it as one of the most powerful innovation factor in today’s fast
changing corporate world.
I consider myself an outgoing person with the following knowledge/skills:
• Understanding of corporate IT and of current and emerging technologies
• Problem solving attitude
• Experience in providing effective and timely IT solutions to “internal customers”, at the
same time managing costs and risks
• Ability to communicate IT strategy and solutions to a non technical audience
• Able to build and motivate a project organisation, staffing it with the right people in the
right roles
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills

Reporting directly to the company’s board of directors, I have been made responsible of
rebuilding the complete IT landscape after being sold by the former mother company. Major
focus on outsourcing and infrastructure standardisation. The complete project lasted one and
a half year and was considered a complete success by the company management. During
the project I was in charge of all the aspects regarding the RfP and the selection of the
outsourcing vendor. After completing the transition, I was given the responsibility of building
up the ERP roll-out team to provide a common SAP installation to the entire company. Focus
in this case was change management and process harmonisation. I was also made
responsible of defining and implementing the IT strategy by building up a coherent roadmap
that will accompany PMG in the foreseen growth in the next years. Under my responsibility
falls the selection of the next IT services that should be implemented, according with the
management priorities and the given budget. All the aspects of the IT landscape are
coordinated by me and my team: from PC deployment to security issues; from license
management to the roll-out of collaboration tools (focus on SharePoint).
Global IT manager
PMG S.A. (division of the Plansee Group)
April 2008 – December 2011 (3 years 9 months)
Hired to bring the company from a completely “uncontrolled” IT situation to a more clear and
strategically coherent structure. Reporting to the IT manager of the Plansee Group
Task is to bring all the plant to a common network sharing the same services and using the
same ERP (SAP) in order to reduce IT connected risk and increase transparency in
information and decisions.
IT manager Italia
Comet S.p.A. (now Tesa Italia) (www.tesa.com)
January 2008 – March 2008 (3 months)
Small but significant experience in a completely new business (adhesive tapes) in a very
nice company trying to move from a “best of breed” approach to the IT field to a more
consistent and integrated use of the modern ERP systems. I think something of my
contribution is still there.
IT manager
CERATIZIT Alserio S.p.A. (www.ceratizit.com)
November 1998 – December 2007 (9 years 2 months)
One of my longest experience so far. A very intense learning experience including technical
aspects and also more relational kind of attitudes. I implemented in Ceratizit “everything” as
far as IT was concerned, starting from the replacement of the old ERP system, to the
installation of a “core” BI solution, up to the integration with the network of the international
enterprise (Plansee AG) that bought the company in 2001.
After the company was acquired from Plansee I took the responsibility of all the IT related
activities of Plansee in Italy, including the supervision of 2 smaller companies (Plansee Italia
and WNT Italia)
In CERATIZIT, amongst other projects, I worked as internal responsible for the SAP roll-out.
In WNT, company that was mostly dedicated to distribute mechanical tools to mid sized
