Principali attività e responsabilità YupSail is the marketplace for nautical charter, a web application for e-commerce. I founded this start-up together with an ex colleague to fill the technological gap found in the industry.
Responsibilities:

· Front-end: I developed the entire responsive front-end using JSP, taglibs, Javascript, jQuery, CSS, Twitter Bootstrap, integrated with Facebook, Twitter and Google API

· Back-end: I was responsible to develop it with Struts 2, I cooperated in creating the architecture of the web application, the business logic and the database.

· Marketing: I organized the marketing strategy to be developed on Facebook and Google AdWords and I tutored an intern teaching how to create campaigns and analyse the results.

· SEO: I extensively studied how to make a multi-domain and multi-language web application seo friendly.

· Mentor: I mentored three interns who joined the company by these years. One for marketing and communication, and two for selling the service to businesses.

Principali attività e responsabilità This is a personal project I’m working on the spare time used by me for learning Android development.

I'm developing the native Android mobile application and the web application using Angular 4.
It uses a webservice to store data in a relational database and Google Firebase Real-time Database for the delivery. The details of the application can not be disclosed.

Principali attività e responsabilità I formed a team of six freelancers to collaborate in developing websites for professionals using WordPress. The goal was to deliver to the client a high-quality website, perfect in term of layout, responsive, updated to the latest versions and to make the client autonomous on the contents.

The approach used was first to define a graphics and to create a mock-up of the main pages by working together with the client; later when the design was approved the real development of the website starts always by presenting to the client the progresses in case any changes were necessary.

In the past four years I’ve been able to gain experience in the development of enterprise web applications, in particular I’ve focused on the development of the front-end. First by developing from scratch the e-commerce of my own company using technologies like JQuery and CSS3, and more recently by starting a project that includes a native Android application and an Angular 4 web application.

Front-end:
I started by working on the front-end of a company’s framework and I continued my career improving my knowledge of front-end technologies like Javascript, JQuery, CSS3, HTML5 and Twitter Bootstrap.  More recently I’ve learnt Angular 4, TypeScript, npm, Grunt and SASS .

Back-end:
In my career I had for different times a chance to work on the back-end of enterprise web applications using Java EE, Struts2, Glassfish, Payara and Linux.

Database:
I know the basics of database, in particular I used Postresql with Postgis, Mysql and Google Firebase Real-time Database for the dispatch of data to mobile devices;

Versioning:
Subversion, Git

Mobile:
I’ve developed a working Android application, but still I haven’t reached the release stage.

CMS:
I created many website using Wordpress for clients as a freelance where in close collaboration with a graphic designer who provided me with the mock-up I edited the layouts and graphics of the templates;

Marketing:
I had a limited experience on creating and managing small Adwords and Facebook campaigns;
