 November, 2012 – June,2018 Omniagroup, Italy as Senior Programmer Analyst Responsibilities: – Responsible for the analysis and development of the projects. – Provide support for testing which includes inter testing, unit testing, and system testing. – Optimizing the written code in asp.net by performing various checks at various levels on an existing applications for the most important client of the company (one of our major clients) Project 1 : An Web portal for Misericordia Firenze, Italy Technical environment : MVC3, C#, SQL Server 2012 , JavaScript, JQuery , HTML and CSS – Involved in Requirement gathering and design document. – This project is an n-tier application ( Data Layer -> Web Service -> Business layer -> UI, Front End and Back End Application ) used for online booking of medical exam, containing an area for the doctors with a calendar appointment slots, an area reserved for volunteers for online services and shifts reservations. – Developed the UI tier using mvc3, C# as the code-behind language and LINQ as the SQL data consumer – Implemented the Service Layer – WCF services (HTTP and HTTPS) – Developed the Data Access Layer using Entity Framework using the Model generated from an existing database along with the generic implementation for reading and modifying (CRUD) the data in database. Project 2 : A Metro Style Application tailored for touch interaction Technical environment : C#, SQL Server 2012 , JavaScript, JQuery , HTML and CSS – This application is used by the volunteers of Misericordia di Firenze for events, services and shift reservation/cancellation. Project 3. An Web Application for Mapei SPA, Italy Technical environment : MVC4, C#, bootstrap, SQL Server 2012 , JavaScript, JQuery , HTML and CSS – This is n-tier an web base application having a Back End and a Front End part reached via a custom link received by email. The main purpose of this application is to allow different customers of Mapei to download the last updated MSDS for purchased products. – I implemented the windows services for this application, used to import the data to the database used by this application, an windows service for sending reminder emails to users who have not downloaded the MSDS and for sending update email to users in case a new MSDS is available for purchased products. – I developed the entire business logic in C# ( prepare and process, acquire and email sending using custom templates and languages customizable from Back End), the UI tier using jQuery Datatables and bootstrap for Front End . Project 4 . An web application for Autostrade (Motorways) Italy Technical environment : ASP.NET, vb.net , SQL Server 2012, Oracle, Telerik as external library This is an intranet web application used for claims management This project was a big challenge for me because the client wanted to change the supplier for this project as he wasn't satisfied with the quality of work done by other colleagues. Now, for me, it's a pleasure working for this client, I gained his trust and now the company I work for became the main supplier for the projects of Autostrade Italia. – Responsible for understanding user requirements, designing and developing the application. – Involved in the development of Presentation Logic for GUI of ASP.NET pages – Developed and consumed Web Services and extensively used GridViews with sorting and paging ,implemented Template Columns for Custom Nested GridViews. – Developed XSL, XSD files for Media Metadata XML files. – Interacting with local clients conducting conferences/client meeting to collect the technical requirements, analyze them, provide estimations etc. Project 5 .
