Summary
My current role consists in leading and coordinating IT teams involved in Robotic Process Automation
Projects and managing RPA systems for the Intesa Sanpaolo Group. My responsibility covers the Project
Management and Application Management at 360 degrees as a member of the RPA&AI Center of
Competence, managing and monitoring the Service Level Agreement, budget planning, monitoring of costs,
delivering solutions for ISP. In the past for my job I used to also play the role of team leader, business
analyst ICT, technical responsible for implementation, migration and integration of new platforms with the legacy systems of the Bank.

RPA Program/Project Manager – RPA&AI Center of Competence/Transformation Engine team at Intesa
Sanpaolo Bank June 2016 – Present (4 years)
In the new born “Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence” Center of Competence of the
Bank, I’m the program/project manager for RPA intiatives, at present based on BluePrism suite.
Responsible for the live Robots running various processes in different Bank’s Divisions (p.e. AML,
Backoffice, Security, etc.).
Program Manager & ICT business analyst for the New Banking Platform program – Transformation Engine
team at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank January 2016 – May 2016 (1 year and 4 months)
Program Manager as member of the Transformation Engine team, main goals are: to implement the new IT
architecture for the entire Bank, named New Banking Platform (NBP) program. To re-define target IT
standards and guidelines, to implement the IT infrastructures and and realize tools and then assure 
coherence and adherence of the SW Applications to the NBP Requirements; Monitor IT projects and

Main Projects
RPA Program for Intesa Sanpaolo Backoffice May 2017 – Present (6 months)
RFI/P to select RPA system integrator to implement the Backoffice program. I’m the Program Manager and 
RPA Project Manager with the aim to automate 8 processes in different BO areas, to implement the
security solution for RPA, to define Architectural and Development guidelines, to implement the
Governance solution to manage change management of the entire RPA scope and to implement the unique
Human-Machine GUI for RPA and AI. In parallel other minor RPA projects are now started in some other
Banks’ Divisions like CFO, Cost Control, Accounting, HR, Security, managed by the RPA Center of
Competence.
RPA Pilot Project for Intesa Sanpaolo Anti Money Laundering “customer due diligence” process October
2016 – March 2017 (6 months)
Initially I managed the SW selection for the RPA target tool (BluePrism was the winner) and the
multidisciplinary team who defined the security approach to introduce RPA in the Bank. Then PM for the
Pilot RPA project with the goal to automate the Customer Due Diligence for Bank’s AML. In 6 months
infrastructure and robots have been realized to “use” 13 legacy applications and compose due diligence
investigations. Now the robots are co-workers for AML team.
ICT Program Manager for “Product Hub” and “Architecture and Security evolution” for the New Banking
Platform program January 2016 – October 2016 (10 months)
Program Manager for “Product Hub project”, a unique global referee and services centralized system to
provide static data, pricing and purchasing rules for Bank’s products. Program manager for Architectural
and Security evolution with the goal to make the IT infrastructure ready to be “Always-On”, “Agile”,
“Customer Fiendly” and a “Services Hub” oriented applications. Adoption of the IBM Integration Bus,
Business Process Manager (IBM BPM) and Websphere Service Registry (IBM WSSR) to manage the NBP
“atomic” and “orchestrated” services. Security side, CA Layer 7 with SAML token to make the whole STP
secure was some of the matters managed in the program.
A new Trade Finance backend system (Letters of Credit, Collections, Guarantees) for Intesa Sanpaolo’s
Foreign Network Branches November 2013 – July 2015 (1 years and 9 months)
Bank Project Manager for Intesa Sanpaolo Bank to adopt a new backend system for Bank Foreign Network
Branches able to manage Letters of Credit, Collections, Guarantees, Shipping Guarantees. Solution choice
manager in the RFP process (Eximbills Enterprise by China Systems vendor as the target solution). Definition
of Project structure and Vendors, selection of China Systems in charge of implementation and TCS (Tata
Consultancy Service) as system integrator. Project Leader (< 50 people) for the integration project of the
new Backend with the Bank legacy systems and then diffuse it in the worldwide Foreign Network branches
for Intesa Sanpaolo Bank. Working directly with Head Office and Branch Managers, Bills Department
responsible and key Users in our main HUBs (New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai).
All goals have been reached and Eximbills is now the official target system for trade finance in Intesa
Sanpaolo, fully integrated with legacy systems for a complete STP.
Kondor+ centralization project for the ISP foreign network (London, Hong Kong, New York, Dublin,
Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo) September 2012 – September 2013 (1 year)

A new Conduit Management System for ABCP Business in Banca IMI London and New York May 2011 –

Paper Business in Banca IMI London & New York branch. The selection was to buy a package by Sungard 
named Quantum Avantgard and deeply personalize to cover the Banca IMI needs. Working directly with

Banca IMI ETD system migration (centralization). IT Responsible for the centralization of the London based
ETD backend system provided by Ffastfill Vendor. Also, member of the team in charge to choose the new
Front Office system for ETD business in Banca IMI.
GEC – a new platform for Banca IMI Post Trading and Settlement confirmations March 2005 – March 2006

IT Project Manager for the implementation of the new Confirmations Manager system dedicated to post
trading and settlement confirmations for Banca IMI, named GEC (GEstore Conferme). Working directly
with Middle Office and Backoffice Banca IMI key Users
CABOS2 ROMO – new platform for Backoffice Systems of Caboto Investment Bank November 2002 –
October 2004 (1 year and 11 months)
ROMO (Order Collect system and Middle Office Automation system). Inside the CABOS2 program,
Techincal and Methodology Responsible for the implementation of the new "Order Collect" system and
"Middle Office Automation" system named ROMO. Integration of ROMO with the major Financial Markets
(Bonds and Equities), Front Office systems, Position Keeping systems, Prematching systems of Caboto
Investment Bank.
CABOS2 COSEZ – A new platform for Backoffice Systems of Caboto Investment Bank October 2000 –
October 2002 (2 years)
In the CABOS2 Program, member of the pilot team to implement the new "Finance Accounting System"
named COSEZ. GUI responsible, Methodology responsible, Change Management responsible. Java, PL/SQL
in Oracle DB, xml approach and architecture. UML, Rational Suite.
