This company is responsible for producing these machines called sorters. In logistics of trafficking in those plants consisting of some linked station of injection, called feeders at many exits from a conveyor belt. I have been hired to cooperate with a French team specialized in manufacture devices in the field of automation and related software.

It is a big project that has been commissioned by Italian post offices. Sitma produces the mechanical part, the sorter. The French company I work with is developing the software that manages communication with:

the PLCs of the system
a Siemens vision system (to read barcodes and make OCR of the written addresses on parcels)
postal information systems.

I often visit this software house based in Lyon in order to understand the documentation and specifications, to coordinate the members of my company with French colleagues.
