Projects Mobilisation the Payment Capability in PBB – Business Operations
Strategically and operationally involved in identifying and mobilising the Payment processing
sub-capability within PBB-Business Operations. Participative in setting up and aligning this
stream at an enterprise level as well as creating an inherent awareness to begin leadership
transformation towards the need for a Payment Stream within the bank.
Cash Services Model
Created the architecture for a Cash Services model turning it from a “basement business” to
one with a footprint across Africa. Robotics used as a mechanism to facilitate process
improvement.
Integrated Processing Centre and Business Fulfilment Centres
Architecturally moved a business from a decentralized to an integrated centralised
environment with business processes alignment, their rationalisation, centralisation and
optimisation.
Multichannel and Payments Architecture
Initiated the definition of a bank’s Payment and Multichannel Architecture and the strategic
journey required to achieve these states. This required understanding international best
practice, an intimate understanding of the bank’s business processes in these realms as well
as the technical and data requirements that affect the business in these areas. These
architectures have since been undertaken and have reached a global implementation
level.
Payment Factory
Having defined the bank’s payment architecture as well as operationally involved in
identifying and mobilising the Payment processing sub-capability within PBB-Business Business
Operations I was given the opportunity to define and implement a Payment factory in the
bank’s Business Operation. I am currently working on this, that is, at implementation level.
