Client: Allstate Benefits (Insurance) – Billing

Description: V3 is an accurate, flexible billing system for both group and direct invoicing. It easily aligns with the unique payroll, payment, reporting and administration preferences of each of your group customers. It consolidates billing across products and even across carriers. It supports both list and volume-based billing, and it handles the processing of both true-group and voluntary products.

V3 Cycle Builder supports the definition of almost any type of cycle easily handling 9thly, 10thly, skip month and other otherwise difficult to handle billing frequencies. V3 Bill Builder enables the configuration of any number of presentation-quality billing templates. V3 automates payment posting & matching and offers advanced tools for payment reconciliation. V3 Account features support payment reversals, splits, write-offs, suspense processing, and transfers. Billing can be implemented as a stand-alone function without Policy Admin or as part of a more complete V3 installation.

Responsibilities:

ü  Developing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views by using PLSQL.

ü  Developing Batches that are very important in applying payments to the bills and reconciling.

ü  Developing complex Imports, Exports and Reports that are involved to get the data regarding the account, coverage audits and many more.

ü  Developing data configuration scripts that are used to make major UI configurations.

ü  Interacting with business analysts to analyze the user requirements, functional specifications and system specifications.

ü  Respond to Tickets assigned to me and fix any database issues promptly.

ü  Give daily status on my work.

ü  Mentoring and following up on the work done by new hires.

ü  Involved in testing the application manually before automating the desired test cases.

ü  Involved in deployment support tasks like build deployment, managing the apps and Databases.

V3 for Retirement is a fully integrated, highly scalable solution suitable for use by public pension funds, Taft-Hartley plans, municipal plans, third party administrators and other similar organizations. Address a full spectrum of requirements including enrollment, payroll reporting, contributions processing, benefits calculations and benefits payroll. Enable dramatic business-process improvement within your organization. V3 Workflow, call center, Self-Service and Imaging features will streamline pension benefit processing.

Responsibilities:

ü  Delivering high quality Code.

ü  Developing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views by using PL/SQL.

ü  Developing Imports, Exports and Reports that deal with major functionality of the application.

ü  Developing data configuration scripts.
